Good call on the windshield readout! Totally missed that. Don't know why anyone's surprised he shares a face with Ironhide, though. They had the same face on their character models.

Looks great. I get it for the shoulders, they don't want a repeat situation of Exhaust. It's not a bad solution.

I'm hoping this will grow on me. Currently I still prefer Ironhide. Will make up my mind in the new year after I've got Ironhide.

Also, the red light bars press in for him to squeeze into Optimus' trailer. Someone called that out on the Ironhide boards ages ago.

 

I knew the mold was tall but I wasn't prepared for this. Rachet and IH are Starscream's height.

I'm not surprised by the reveal, but he looks nice enough.

I will mod the autocross thing on his shoulders when I get him, though.

 

They're supposed to be seeker height. It's spot on.

 

I'm surprised to see how much better Ratchet's groin looks thanks to the remolding. And how much extra it makes Ironhide's groin look like diapers...

I don't really mind the way they did the red crosses. I'm glad they managed to find a way to get around it without affecting the overall look of the figure.

 

Ratchet looks brilliant. Quite possibly one of my favourite looking MP botmodes! And seeing Sixo's comparison with MP Ironhide makes me like the red fella even more.

Can't wait to own these.

 

I love the pace at which these things are being released. Any criticism I had of TT when Tracks was delayed have been addressed and then some.

I like both Ironhide and Ratchet, they look great to me, not the best MP ever but still fantastic additions to the line.

 

Again, excellent work, my friend. Definitely feels more coherent in comparison. As others are saying, the new hips are fantastic and the height - Seeker height - is spot on. I know others are disappointed with the window color, but I love it. Wish they all had blue tinted windows, to be honest.

The MP train keeps rolling! Speaking of which, I'm thinking of cancelling my UW Devastator preorder now. I wasn't expect '16 to be such a breakout year for the line so saving $200 sounds pretty nice right now.

 

Yeah I agree with y'all that Ratchet looks so much better than Ironhide. The shoulders don't really bother me, and if they do in time, I'll just do the Reprolabels thing as well.

 

Thanks again! I like the windows too, although I understand why others don't. I dunno, it's not one of those things that I ever really notice, to be honest.

Oh, and shame about Devastator, but I guess that makes sense. I 'm looking forward to seeing mine arrive soon... soon!

 

Looks as good as could be expected, Im still not happy about a few aspects of this design but I'm hoping it looks better in person (and I can pop those hip panels off). The remoulding and different accessory choices are all very welcome.

The mould does look better as Ratchet, mostly cos I think of Ratchet as slimmer/less stocky than Ironhide.

Yeah it looks wonky but I guess they did what they had to do.

This will Almost definitely happen, I wonder if they'll do plan white stickers for a G1 comic affect. Which leads me to..
