NYCC 2015 - Sentinel Prime on Display!

 

That gotta be repainted as astrotrain somwhere down the line

 

This is...... disappointing.

 

I am kinda hoping for a broadside remold personally but yeah, it will prolly be astrotrain

 

why? I think he looks kinda rad, and I am all for new charecters vs rehashes like the latter half od CW

 

Seems to be made to remold/recolor into a Voyager Astrotrain. Alt modes are space ship and train. Partner is Infinitus, who could be repainted into Optimus Prime's head.



The rumors from the Transmissions podcast called this one again, at least pretty close... The colors ended up being more IDW colors.

I'm kinda hoping Takara takes this and remolds it into Galaxy Shuttle, just because I liked his design.

 

Nice mold, I'm sure the hands should be folded in tho. The colors are relatively nice, and I'm most likely getting this.

 

This line isn't for me so far.

Heck. Omega was even a Headmaster.

 

I like it, especially the head sculpt, except for two things - I think he needs a bit more color variety, and I'm never a fan of snap together crotches. I get that it's a painted prototype which is why is not connected well, but I still don't like them.

 

I like the mold, assuming those hands can be folded into those giant holes in his arms for shuttle form. However, as much as I'd like a pre-OP Prime, this is just Astrotrain with a different head and a paint scheme made of two shades of the one colour. Think I'll pass but looking forwards to Astrotrain.

 

Again, Voyager-Class, no deal. (Should've been Leader-Class, same with Galvatron)

Two strikes against Hasbro so far.

 

^Nova is a deluxe.

And the Third Party kits to convert Optimus Maximus into Nova Prime are also probably large Voyagers.

Only Leader Class versions is the Bayverse one.

That third mode doesn't look like a train.

 

its actually a really good train, I think the arms fold in in shuttle mode. There's a lot of missing paint apps here, especially on the forward cockpit section and the rear cockpit wasn't supposed to be a transparent block I think. I like the mold, I'm hoping for last second changes, Takara or rectified with AstroTrain. I see a lot good here...it looks like you can choose train feet or spaceship feet too.

 

I thought of Energon Omega Supreme as soon as I saw the train mode, too.
