So his Headmaster figure is a tiny version of himself?

    ...well, it's interesting.

In one of the other threads there is a picture of the card that appears to name the (head)Master as Twincast. Would have been neat if Twincast had the G1 Twincast coloring in robot mode, but this is still looking to be a great arc for the toys!

Not bad. But I am not amused with this computer render trend.

A simple chest plate premold variation could go a long way to make Soundwave and Blaster look different. Hopefully they did that.

I totally dig it. Base mode works as a platform to go with Metroplex or rumored Fort Max. Figure, well as a figure blaster was taller than most everyone in G1 so I am cool with it though I would have preferred voyager class, but then tapes and base mode would be lost. I am 85% pleased with him.

For me , if I want a sound wave that big I might as well go for the MP . Where in blaster I don't really have a choice when It comes to official stuff so I'll probably pick up blaster but not sound wave

Hasbro loves their hollow/panel-built legs, but I think this (deconstructing/refolding) is an example of the design & engineering working with/complementing it, just like Leader Ultra Magnus!

Like that, too! I know someone said it could be Twincast, but I like that! It's like he can leave part of himself behind to hold it down, then get some real shit done!

He's always struck me as a larger bot.

I think he looks pretty cool but does anyone else wish for more of a G1 cartoon face?

Blaster being big makes sense when you consider he's been made to accommodate the new triple changing tape bots. I really like his base mode too, he's a win for me but yeah he's not going to fit into any existing classics line up.

I love Blaster. But this rendition I am not sold on. Triple changing? Kewl. Headmaster bots? Also kewl, but to me this isn't Blaster's theme. I really hope they don't do the same with Soundwave.

    That being said, I wouldn't mind seeing a triple-changing, head or target-master Starscream/Seekers.
