Wow. Dead on perfect for these guys! If the rest of the deluxes are 75% as good as these, 2016 will be one of the best collecting years for me in a long time.

Can't help but feel this showing off Skullcruncher is a direct slap in the face--and deservedly so--to the 3rd party makers and the recent release of that Not-Skullcruncher, lol. Has/Tak keeps rolling them out and I'm loving it.

Actually makes me feel better about Crox. Don't like Hasbro's face sculpt for Skullcruncher, but I like parts of the alt mode. Felt FP handled the tail-sword better.

These guys are great. If all the Titans Return deluxe figures are going to be direct homages/updates of the original headmasters, I can see myself getting all if not most of them.

The other size classes don't do it for me. The mix of new concepts and old characters isn't my kinda thing.

Oh. Gross. I was wondering why these were underwhelming, and it's because they're DELUXE. My most despised size-class.

    WTF?!?!?! Voyager & Leader <insert-inappropriate-robot-pun> my <robot-pun>!

Right?!?!?! Galvatron is awesome, too. VOYAGER. The size a Transformer (not a transforming character representation) should be! When I read Galvatron was a triple changer, I nearly crapped myself imagining what Hardhead'd get as an extra mode. Nothing. Killer.

I honestly cannot even wrap my head around the idea of making deluxe Headmasters, especially when you're ALSO making Voyager Headmasters, and you've ALREADY made a Voyager Headmaster (even as a precedent, if not for scale!)! I even like the idea of tiny, extra Headmasters for sale, beefed out for your dollar with triple-changing weapon/vehicles!

To me, the deluxe pricepoint is like taking what looks to be one of the awesomest lines in modern Transformerdom and sticking a shock of "super-average" straight up its butt!

ugh. so they made Brainstorm a Voyager and now these two deluxes? Hasbro, why you FAIL so hard? it's like they don't want to do anything too right. they get props for making cool looking interesting characters at least... I'll buy these for my kids, no doubt. I'm glad there is G1 and 3P to take care of my plastic crack addiction...

These both look great, Hasbro really nailed them and they both have cockpits and decent looking articulation. I hope the rest are at least as nice as these two.

Hardhead having a second cockpit is s nice bonus feature.

Hardhead has ONE cockpit. Other than that, I agree. Hasbro has finally risen from its slumber. They were sleeping through FOC and AOE, just rubbing their eyes with Combiner Wars, and they are fully awake now.

He's got another one at the back of the cannon, no idea why but it's there.

Yaeh, that's pretty funny. Possibly a targeting seat for another Titan Master?

The scaling of modern day CHUG Transformer figures is a consistent problem, which is, quite frankly, frustrating. We now have a Voyager Galavatron, to go with a leader class Blaster, leader class Megatron and leader class seekers. Meanwhile, we have a Voyager Brainstorm who will soon be accompanied by two deluxe class class Headmasters. If there is one thing I love about the Masterpiece line, its that they actually gives a damn about scale. (Which is why its to bad that at the pace Takara is going, we will all likely be in our 80's before we ever get our first combiners).

That explains why we have soooo many headmasters. What you see is a chamber, not a cockpit. Hardhead uses other headmasters as ammunition.

I like these a lot. Hardhead SHOULD have been a Voyager to match up with Brainy but what are you going to do?

    Getting.

No! I want to believe that's a targeting seat in case Hardhead needs someone else to aim. Maybe someone will make a 3P/Shapeways version of a tank round to fit in there, but until then that's a targeting seat.
