I'd expect with 5 or 6 members, it it no longer "Tri" Predacus, it's The Predacus! So assuming Ravage and the old members, Ram Horn, Sea Clamp, and Cicadacon., who would be the 5th member?

I'd guess Cicadon from Silverbolt, Ram Horn from Rook, Sea Clamp from another car?

They MIGHT consider Tarantulas from Groove as the fifth member, but they just released a Tarantulas, right?

Checks date to see if it's April 1st... It's not? Backs out of thread whistling softly....

(...and I was just thinking, we really need to see more remolded/painted Stunticon this year)

    PS: I dig Beast Wars.

Pretty cool. I'm going to have a ton of combiners on my shelves by the time this era ends.

    I'm of two minds here.

One, Beast Wars finally being acknowledged in any way for its anniversary is awesome! Also, people have been wanting some sort of BW use of the Combiner Wars molds, so this is pretty cool in general.

Two, ugh, why did it have to be the BotCon set to do it? Overpriced exclusives were not the anniversary celebration I had hoped for. And... I personally didn't have an interest in owning beast repaints/molds heh. I want to see who else they decide to use, mostly for the head sculpts, but not that into getting it.

    Well let's see....

    I like beast wars a lot....I'm a sucker for combiners....but I absolutely hate this.

Bet we see this reused as a new DOFP Cheetor and / or Tigertron.

Torso is likely Sky Lynx and I'm thinking combined will try to look like Predaking

    I could have said Sunstreaker.

    YES PLEASE! TIGATRON WORKS.

Some similar digibashes have been done on this board:

I'd be intrigued to see an attempt at a Groove-as-Tarantulas that specifically attempted to emulate the recent TFSS deco. Not sure how likely I think that is, mind you....

Is it wrong my first thought was "Scourge/Nemesis Prime"?

As neat as an updated Tripredacus would be, it's going to be weird seeing them in those blocky-as-hell CW molds.
(would their designs follow the toys or the show?)

One thing I noticed about the figure. The Predacon insignia on his shoulder. Look at the Colour. Red instead of Purple, so I'm thinking that this is possibly a Shattered Glass version.

Also I would prefer if at least one character from this set had a proper Beast mode instead of vehicle. But again have to wait and see.

If I had to hazard a guess, the fact that Beast Wars homages at retail over the past 10 years have had a pretty amazingly consistent history of shelfwarming would be a factor....

Glad Botcon 2016 will be the year of Beast Wars, although personally my distaste for the Breakdown mold makes me kind of hate that Ravage. Overall cant wait to see what the convention has in store next year. I just wish I could actually go though one year.

    Dawn of the PredacUS?

    Intrigued, I am. VERY intrigued.

If it's a new set of Tripredacus Council figures we're getting, I'm on board.

Why does he have a red Predacon symbol?

Botcon's doing a "Beast Wars Shattered Glass" set, aren't they? :(

Not the IDEAL DOFP re-up I wanted, but I'm far from hating it. I didn't jump on the CW train, so now I get to enjoy those molds. And 5 new heads?! In One box set? HELL YEAH!

I only hope we can get some Maximals in the souvenirs with equally great tooling to make a Magnaboss or something out of. That pic a few posts up looks damn good. I'm buying doubles. Gonna be a GREAT Botcon year!!! Now let's get all of those guests in this year!
