And Sara Pitre-Durocher's art is looking pretty good.
He's quite a populist here. Playing at their most basic instincts... Megatron was space robo Joseph Stalin, but this is more space robo Genghis Khan.
I can just picture him trying to them down, only for them all to tell him off. I'm guessing this going to be the conflict here, but it's kind of a retread if it is.
I really like this art. Great proportions, great expressions, and it has a slight dynamic edge to the shapes of everyone without being overdone.
I was about to say. Who's doing the art this issue? It looks kind of Griffith-y but it clearly does things way better in certain areas. Galvatron's grin is absolutely perfect, for example.
This is looking gooood Not just art, which everyone else is mentioning, but also writing. Indeed. For those who don't follow who does what, she did Combiner Hunters and is slated to be the main artist on Til All Are One.
Sara's art looks a lot better than it did in Combiner Hunters and the writing looks intriguing so far.
Ah, totally skimmed over the name in the OP. Sorry about that. I'm digging her. I liked her art in CH, but with Perez's colours it looks really good.
Um. Is it strange that I imagined "Princes of the Universe" by Queen started playing right at end of Galvatron's speech?
Oh hell YESSSS. That's wonderful. Hope she continues to have such a great colorist. Perez really brings out the best in her art. But yes, to echo others, this looks... really good. Art and writing both.
