Asked a Manager if we would see Devastator at Costco like we saw Metroplex as they are starting to setup their Christmas Toys. He told me that it is coming and is in their system. Now this is just hearsay as I don't have any concrete details or a Screenshot but hopefully this guy was not just blowing smoke up my ass.

You know, considering that Metroplex and that leader Bumblebee hit Costco, I think it's a shoe in that they'll get Devastator. Costco looks like they like having big ticket Transformers items.

Not really hearsay; Canadian Costcos have him in their system as well as allocation numbers for areas.

Did they happen to give a price range for it?

So does that mean I'll be able to buy like 20 of them in a package?

So is this a special kind of Devastator, is that what the Grain of Salt Time is?

I would never be able to afford it, but I like the idea of army-building Devastator. Gotta have something to counter the army-building Omega Supremes.

    Internet winner :lol  :lolol

AFAIK, just the retail version of CW Devy (grain of salt as in unconfirmed so take the news with a grain of salt -> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grain_of_salt) :)

Although some extra Costco upgrade would be cool...

    Why should I be surprised?

what would be incredible is if they had the Takara tooling as the CostCo version.

    Nice one. :lol

Metroplex was at CostCo? How much? Maybe we can make a price estimate based on that?

I think Costco Plex was $80. But I don't remember what his MSRP was...$120?

80, I can confirm. It was the reason why I got him there. MSRP was indeed 120 as well.

So, 80/120 is one third (33%) off.

So then, if Devastator's MSRP is truly $150 USD (not $160-170 as TRU seems inclined to push), then 33% off would be roughly $100.

Which would be a pretty awesome price.

That was after a few months though, if I recall. And by that time most locations were running low on stock. Let's say Costco gets Devy and drops him to $100. That's a pretty good price, and at that point if you wait any longer you start gambling that you wouldn't get one from Costco at all.

That was the clearance price, and most stores didn't even have stock after 2 weeks
