I remember being 7 years old, and knowing crap when I saw it.

I really think Hasbro underestimates even the youngest of their audience.

Bad, overpriced shelfwarmer isn't due to coloring. Applies on all scales - from this to most of Platinum Edition.

 

They really make a lot of stuff just to take up shelf space. This isn't worthy of existing in the first place, let alone this repaint.

 

The original was a nice idea that could've been better executed, but why would they do this?

 

Oh bad idea, they coild of at least spray painted it black in purple and called it tryptacon

.. actually, you know what it tells me.. these things are so unbelievably cheap to make but retail for so much that they only really need to sell a few to make a profit. the margins on this thing must be huge.

I doubt you're wrong. I'm sure Argos were selling them off over here for £30 before they took them off of their catalogue. That's a hell of a mark down from the original £80. Most other stores still seem to be hoping for something nearer that higher price though!

The only thing that might be more pathetic than a 2nd release of this turd, is seeing that video that shows the design team working on this thing for 3 years AND how awesome they think it is...
