Ha; I JUST came into this thread to speculate that same thing.

I'm surprised we still get 5 page previews, though, given the pagecount went down to 20 pages. We literally just got 1/4 of the issue there.

 

Interesting on how Megatron seems to be trying to be the "better boss" in this scenario.

Also: "Why do you think I spent most of my life trying to look like someone else." Damn.

 

I'm loving Sakamoto's art here, really similar to Milne's work.

 

I kind of thought Megatron agreeing to another diversion probably had multiple reasons or agendas. trolling/undermining Rodimus was probably one and delaying his judgment might be in there too. It could backfire though as I'm sure many of the dead on the necrobots list will be directly or indirectly attributed to Megatron and I'm sure he wouldn't want the crew reminded in personal way being the names of people they care about the results of his genocide.

Also I was wondering how does this new picture of the supposed necrobot compare design wise with that transformer that added flywheels to his list alongside Ultra Magnus, Drift and hound. Could that list soon start to make sense in some way?

Another issue wth FEELS, I hope we have some advance in the plot

 

I really am hoping it's just a coincidence and not some truly horrifying foreshadowing that Dominus and Terminus have very similar names.

I mean, I know their names both come from Latin, but the similarity still kind of worries me. The fact that both seemingly just vanished is also scary. The fact that both of them, though they took different paths in doing so, worked to end Functionalism, also draws more parallels, and makes everything scarier for me.

...shit.

We best pack our bags, cause we're going on a trip down The Feels Lane in this issue.


Edit: Don't know why I just thought of this, but do you think the reason Tarn was able to recognize the Magnus Armor as, you know, armor, was because HE'S a loadbearer?

It's the exact same bot. And Roberts already explained that list: it was names from the duplicate Lost Light.

No. It's been stated that the names on the Necrobot's list way back in the first chill with the Scavengers were from the alternate timeline the Lost Light created in their quantum jump. They were added after the DJD raided the ship and went on a killfest.

If nothing else than to confuse the Necrobot, you most likely won't see it affecting the lifespans of the named characters.

Is already pretty annoying to use on a PC.

 

Megatron's just trolling Rodimus.
Plus, taking detours is beneficial for him. He can't know if Knights of Cybertron are real or not and there's a possibility they could find him guilty.

 

Seeing the Little Nine doll on Magnus's desk makes me want to cry :')
