Good news, but does anybody actually want it?

 

I know I will not be partaking in the repaint wars. I already have Generations figures for every junky repaint they are releasing and I'm not cluttering my collection with forced repaints

 

what's worse.. that it's a repainted white prime or that it's called "battle core optimus"..

so dumb.

i'd rather have a nemesis prime with a bunch of cool looking figures painted black or like a zombie prime with a bunch of zombified limbs.

this is just blatantly lazy in a line of blatantly lazy repaints.

 

Nope. But doesn't he come shipped with Morormaster? I still need Morormaster.

 

I'll be using the wave 4 limbs with the first CW Prime, this new one can wait for the inevitable sale.

 

Sadly that honor has went to eHobby, who is charging 3 times the normal US retails without any remold / retool and just adding a giant sword

 

Totally a missed opportunity to give us Thunderclash.

I think the club should take Motormaster, give him a new Thunderclashy head and deco, and then recycle him to make Machine Wars Optimus.

 

looks a lot better than the original cw op. this will be my ultra magnus combiner.

 

This repaint crap saddens me on so many levels. Just the jawdropping lack of thought that went into this turd. And for a repaint, can they be serious with this little paint on it?

Hasbro trolling strikes again... wake me up when fans are taken seriously again.

 

I'll have to see how Rodimus and the limbs look on Vanilla CW Prime first.

Combined BCP looks good, and I'd have waited and bought him instead of the first Prime had I known.

If it were a different character, like Thunderclash, as some people suggested, I would go for it. But Optimus Prime? Again? With a colors not accurate to anything except for a few panels of one issue? And with a weird different head when they couldn't even do so with Take Off? This figure is pretty much everything I don't like about this line contained into one toy.

 

I like some of the repaints, but mostly if I get them it is for a combined mode display

MY PRIMUS. zombie combiner. you sir are so smart for that idea I want to hug you. That would be cool to see.

These Prime combiners are crap. Motormaster is the only use I'll get out of that mold.

But with this crap slowly coming in there's a good chance we'll see Onslaught's wave in before Xmas. Eff that Scattershot thing though. I'm putting Hasbro on notice for cheap @ss repaints with hardly no effort.

 

Meh, I could care less about this figure. Besides, CW Optimus should work just fine with this combining team; but to Hasbro's credit, the overall look and color choice is vary decent.

 

I find the figure more interesting visually then the original and the new head's certainly an improvement. I'm thinking of getting this figure to repurpose as Nova Prime or at least Nova before he became a Prime. I also have a big feeling that this version of the mold will be repainted as Star Convoy by Takara and included in the UW set of the Maximus wave.

 

Any sign of the limbs? Robotkingdom were saying delayed till October :-(
