This is cool, but I'm content with my Hasbro version.

That's cool that it's happening, for those that want a tampo-less version. Hopefully/presumably(?) it'll be as readily available as the TTMall Blue Bluestreak is, despite the whole limited number bit.

Nitpick time though....why is the nosecone black, especially with a more cartoon-accurate blue being present?

Time to sell off my Hasbro version. This one has better toon accurate coloring and HOPEFULLY will have the fixed waist lock mechanism that SkyWarp has. I HATE the seekers coming apart at the waist. Plus I'm a sucker for Takara over Hasbro any day! Will be nice to have the matching box, card and probably coin to go with the rest of my Takara MP collection.

I prefer the darker blue of Thundercracker. Totally fine with Hasbro's version.

I'm more than happy with Hasbro's version and I lrefer the toy accurate blue (aside from the guy's name tampo I llove it). But as a seeker nut I WILL be getting this. Nice to see a toon accurate blue Thrundercracker though. Can't wait for this to come out (gonna preorser ASAP.)
Also interesting that they went for toy accurate and rightside up insignias. Wonder what the people who felt MP11SW wasn't Takara enough are gonna say.
Speaking of MP11SW I'm sort of worried we'll see a Skywarpmthis way as well. I only say this because I caved in and got MP11 SW recently (not the full $200 but $188 which is still a high price tag).
Also seems like this Thundercracker only comes with a hollow pilot. Would be nice to get the stand with a Takara release as they do dipsplay quite nicely. I wouldn't mind a coronation gear set as well but it's the more understandable omission in this case (still I do love that Sunstorm came with it as it looks fabulous regardless of whether it makes sense).
    Anyway this is cool.

I wasn't collecting when the hasbro TC came out and the current price of them on ebay is too high for my tastes. Hopefully this release drives the price down to something more reasonable. Like $100. That's about tops what I'm comfortable paying for the seeker mold.

    About time! Very exciting.

Sorry, Hasbro Thundercracker, your days on my shelf are numbered. "Meh" at the black nose cone though, I can't really fathom why they did that on a toon-accurate figure.

Honestly, it doesn't seem like a huge step up from the Hasbro version. The only notable differences are the shade of blue and lack of custom decals. It also has silver, but Thundercracker managed to pull off the unpainted silver look pretty well in conjunction with that nice blue Hasbro gave him.

I think the biggest two changes they could have made to make him moe toon accurate, aside from the shade of blue, would have been making the nose one blue and the insignias upside down, and they seem to have done neither, which makes little sense to me if they were going for a more cartoon accurate look.

The exchange rate puts this at just shy of $150 without shipping.

Hey guys, sorry if this is a stupid question. Will this be available on any other website? If not, is there a way to translate the site its on?

    Yes finally!!!

Love the colour. So glad it isn't Hasbro Asia with associated silly price. So do we think this will be like blue Bluestreak - limited to 2000 pieces in Japan only, but plenty elsewhere and easy to pick up?

Yeah the grey on Hasbro Thundercracker was not bad at all. It is a tad odd though that Takara did the insignias and the nose the way they did (It likewise baffles me that Hasbro's upcoming Starscream isn't toy accurate dark blue)
oh man this makes me want to have Takara's even more. I really want to set both Thundercrackers together.
Unfortunately for a lot of us it probabyly will be about $150.
I predict that's the price the US retailers will charge.

    So it is happening indeed.

Not sure if I'm going to get this. Even if it will be less limited than the 2000 (just like the blue Bluestreak) it won't be cheap. I'm not sure that I want to spend that money.

I already have the Hasbro version and the darker toy blue is nice. (Besides, it's the one I remember from the 80's so there's a bit more nostalgia for the darker blue version).
