Neat that the concept for Strongarm has a G1 Ironhide vibe for her.   Also interesting about Fix It having a different colour originally.

 

I think it's the profile shot, but that Bumblebee has me thinking BM Cheetor (with normal legs).

 

Denny's concept design looks kinda creepy. Russel looks too old. Strongarm and Fixit looked pretty cool, but I am happy with how they turned out on the show. As for Bumblebee... He doesn't look that much different than what we've got in the show. I still think it looks more like a yellow Rodimus than Bumblebee.

 

Bumblebee looks pretty much the same, aside from the more prominent head lights, fixit looks good but has pretty much the same vibe as his final design, Strongarm looks amaaaaaaazing!!!!! I wish they had gone with something more like this over the more boxy look they ended up with. Russel looks like that kid from Armada that I can't remember the name of (Billy?), while Denny looks a lot like an older version of Jack (hmmm...I wonder why).

 

Good to know who's responsible for the worst Bumblebee design of all time. And that's saying something.

 

I can now see that too especially the neck profile. Makes me wonder if that was intentional or not.

 

The worst? I have to disagree, I quite like it. It makes him look less like a small scared Autobot and more like the leader that he grew into. He actually has character development here!

 

Bumblebee seems... Unchanged. Lovin' that Strongarm. As for the rest... Glad we got what we ended up with.

 

I wish that was what Strongarm really looked like.

 

Fixit looks drunk and Denny looks like GB Blackrock.

 

Strongarm had more of a fembot bust similar to Arcee it seems; I like that they changed that. Fixit with treadlegs is odd and that color od his is unexpected. Wouldn't mind the legion in thatncolor someday.

 

Fixit's tread legs....I'm glady they went with a more segway look.

Strongarm looks pretty good here.

 

This guy did concept art for TFPrime too. And what's the TF2 mean? Is this mean tf rime 2 possibly?

Also I.have to agree that this Bee is dome well
WAAAAY better then beep box TF  bee or from beast hunters

 

Bumblebee: Just about the same.
Denny: The sunglasses and 'stache make him look like a shady truck driver. Doesn't matter though, I'd have been okay with it.
Fixit: I would've been okay with either design, TBH.
Russel: Glad we got the design on the show. This one doesn't do it for me.
Strongarm: Actually glad we got the design on the show. This one looks generic.

 

That Strongarm looks awesome! I still like her final version better, but I would say no to having a poster of that concept art hanging on my wall.  

 

I'm happy Denny, Russel, Fixit, Optimus and Strongarm turned out different.
I heard Jon Bailey auditioned for Denny and mentioned he was different during auditions. Anyone know what he said specifically? I'd be interested to hear what he was originally going to be like.

Denny looks like a cross between Dean from Iron Giant and a younger Peter Cullen.
