    I like what I see. :)

The visor option on this version makes him remind me of Marvel's Cyclops with the ruby quartz glasses now. Both with and without the visor. ;)

It's not anything I expected but I kinda hoped the Devastator eyes were yellow like the G1 toy. No deal breaker, I just thought it would have been cool. Looking pretty good.

Why would you want the eyes yellow? All the G1 cartoon Devastator's eyes are red.

So they all have arms, and guns, and the visor can move. Neat.

But in the cartoon most of the time Devastator was potrayal with a visor. So it would make sense for the eyes to be yellow to be yellow to homage the toy. Since it has both eyes and visor might as well make it a dual homage.

Either way, looks great! The cartoon accuracy is great for those who want to use him as an MP.

Read his post again, he was hoping for yellow eyes based on the actual G1 toy, not every collector revolves around Sunbow's badly animated error filled cartoon.

Huh, that's odd. The extra weapons can be attached to the vehicle modes, which makes me wonder if the holes were there in the first place or Takara carved them in themselves.

I think they were remolds -- some of the previous magazine scans showed unpainted new molding aside from the knees and elbows. Really awesome job by Takara.

I see they even painted the upper legs under the crotch plate purple for cartoon accuracy, which I don't think was there in the Tokyo show. If they just got rid of the purple inside Bonecrusher's legs (a mistake, IMO) and the silver details on the forearms this would be my perfect Devastator.

You can also tell that, promo pictures aside, they mean for Mixmaster's truck to face "backwards", since the gun in this mode (accurate all the way back to his first appearance in Heavy Metal War) seems to be facing the wrong way.

I went with Amiami. If the dollar/yen conversion goes south in the next 6 months; I'll ask them nicely to cancel it and stick with the BBTS preorder I have.

Not the toy. I would have liked the eyes to replicate the look of the toy and the visor to be red. I thought the option would be cool.

Two of the figures (Bonecrusher and Scavenger) had their knee joints remolded to be closer to the middle of the leg (they are in the thigh area on Hasbro's version)
