Prime looks pretty cool.

 

Man that Optimus... two simple panels that hide under the trailer in vehicle mode which then slide out and cover up the hollowness of the legs in robot mode and he would be perfect.
But this? Meh.

Official pics for the fembots would be nice too, hope we get those soon.

 

Man, it's AMAZING what a few extra paint apps can do to REALLY elevate a figure's look.

By and large, Takara's RiD stuff just LOOKS so much better than Hasbro's equivalents, it's not even funny.

 

I might, "might" get that Optimus but I don't plan to get any of the other figures from that line.

God, such simple designs.

That Jazz looks way better with the extra paint. Definitely gunna have to get that one.

 

i think that optimus is the best toy from this line
he seems to have a light up gimmick or something.....it looks like the matrix...kinda^__^"
but this optimus in particular should have the faceplate/no faceplate head

They just had to reveal Jazz and Swipe after I finally find them at retail.
I will be getting that OP though, I just wish it didn't come with lights. That makes it not as good as other figures.

Man, I wish I'd known this version of RID Optimus was coming out before I got the Warrior Optimus and Nemesis Prime figures.

 

Wait, what Optimus is that? Is that a voyager or tricked out Warrior Class? Because the Warrior Class does not look like that. Also, either my old eyes are getting worse, or he has fluttering wings behind him.

 

I think it's supposed to be 'Adventure's' version of Leader-class, complete with electronics.

Well late July release in Japan, your local retailers will have to wait for their shipments so it could be an early August in that case.

 

I tend to order the RID/Adventure stuff from HLJ (those paints apps make a big difference. The only exceptions were Warrior Grimlock and Optimus), and they've been spot on with the release dates so far.

That is incorrect he stands something like 11.8 inches tall I believe. I

I have him pre ordered I hope he is as cool and sturdy as I hope.

 

Ordered from HLJ and cancelled TFS, to save a little money. Debating that Optimus.
