Probably the most anticipated combiners for myself. The color scheme always seemed so dark and evil.

 

On top of that, there are missiles that are designed to put out forest fires. They explode into a powdery substance that deprive fires of oxygen.

 

This. I'm fine with him being an Aerialbot repaint. I also think the rest of the team looks good. But why not the obvious choice?

I'll end up getting them, but hoping Takara does a new mold for Blast Off like they did with UW Groove.

 

Gosh darn it! Brawl looks like the best Limb so far. I'm still probably gonna hold out for the UW version just for Blast Off (and hopefully a better colour scheme on Vortex) but it's gonna be reeeally hard not to scoop up Hasbro's Brawl, Swindle and Onslaught. Gotta save that skrilla for UW Bruticus's inevitably hefty price-tag though!

They've teased that they're doing Blast Off, hopefully we'll see his prototype around the time Hasbro's Combaticons come out.

 

That Plane Blast Off just kills my enthusiasm for this wave. I will get him because I could do with more Decepticons but he sure as Hell ain't gonna do as my Blast Off. UW totally wins this round for me.

 

I sold my Green Giant to make room for a CW Bruticus (I love CW Superion). I'm just not sure if I should go for the Hasbro or TT UW version. Is there a comparison picture of the 2 versions yet?

I don't really care if Blastoff is redone as a shuttle because I think the Alpha Bravo mold is very respectable, and that since I'm going to use this character solely for the Gestalt mode, it's not a huge deal for me.

 

Nope, not yet. Smart money said Blast-off will be a shuttle though. Check the best Bruticus illustrations from the 'toon that should give you a hint of what TT will do.

 

I really hope UW Brut has a silver chestplate. The toy is designed to emulate the G1 toy, so the cartoon colors will look off-putting in combined mode. Not to mention that'll give Onslaught a Blastoff-colored backpack.

 

Given what they did with UW Defensor, I think it's a safe bet that Takara will give Onslaught the Blastoff-coloured backpack.

 

Well then. I might just paint it, but I don't want to test my train wreck of a painting skill on such an expensive toy...

 

Brawl, Swindle and Onslaught look quite good and the combined mode ain't half bad either.

Definately like the images I saw, preorded it, so I won't have to hunt them down. TF's in my area are getting scarce as Wally World and Target's displays are getting smaller and smaller. Amazon and TFSource seem to be my main point of contact for TF's anymore....

Look at the SDCC images. It seems the one there is like that too. Of course it could just be the fact that it was a prototype

That torso... wow. I WOULD be upset because I'm committed to this already in buying the PE upgrade kit but, I don't care. He's going to be in Gestalt mode his whole shelf life.

 

I'll be bother if it wasn't for the fact I'll be keeping him in leg mode 99% of the time.
