Onslaught's alt mode still doesn't work for me. I'm tempted to try to customize it using Hot Spot's windshield pieces, and just turn the guns around.

Yes, they are. In particular, I'm not sure why Bruticus' head is visibly tan in the pic of Onslaught's alt mode, but black in the pic of combined mode. Shrug.

 

Seriously, why are these CGI renders?

 

Some Qs about the team.
1. Will Takara give us a new Blast Off like they did with Groove?
2. Where are Onslaught's vehicle windows?
3. What exactly is Swindle's alt mode?

 

This is kinda of baffling are they going to be changing the colours or did they forget to compare the final paint schemes with this?

However, I just don't like that Blast Off has a mouth.

It was mentioned at the panel that there would be two different chest versions. What I want to know is, when is the grey one coming out? They also could have decency of giving blast-off a unique head sculpt.

 

I can go either way with Blast-Off being a jet or an shuttle but if TT does do a proper shuttle Blast-Off I imagine I might just grab their version...

 

THIS. I love all the CW reveals and will get everyone who has combining capability (non-combiners i may pass on some), but the only thing i'm not digging is Blast Off using the Quickslinger head mold. It's using the Firefly mold, so use the Firefly head! It'd be a lot closer to G1 Blast Off than Quickslinger's head!!!!

 

Just noticed that Bruticus' head is totally visible in vehicle mode. It's masked by the fact that this is a CG render, and the head in vehicle mode is colored brown. I imagine that will stick out a lot in the final version.

I don't really care too much though; still think Onslaught looks pretty cool.

 

CGI renders for official images? That's weird and misleading. Brawl isn't even the same colour as he was on display, and Bruticus is seriously oversaturated. What the hell, Hasbro!

First off, why?


Second, they have enough problems getting individual bots out already, so how the eff do they plan on getting two slightly different versions of the same character out so folks can get the version they want?


It took them YEARS of trying to finally be able to pull that off with their Marvel Legends line.

 

Pure marketing bs tactic.

these are amazing! Except for blast off, who i thought would've worked better with the firefly head than the quickslinger head.
