Sounds like a nice scam show they put on. A bunch of empty promises about how next year will be better. Universe Ramjet has always been a random pile of crap by the way and I hope nobody signs up for that. The fact that Hasbro is now homaging it's own garbage makes it clear that they think people will buy anything.

So do you guys figure the Legends figure will be Warpath recolored into Quake?

I hope not. I'd much prefer Quake in the Brawl mold and have his Targetmasters.

Hey now! I love Universe Ramjet! I don't plan to buy Skywarp, so I'm glad Ramjet is the freebie.

Wouldn't doubt if they are waiting for Kickback to be announced (since the Hasbro panel said again that they are doing full teams), and that we will get Diaclone Bombshell this year and Diaclone Kickback next year.

Edit: Actually shoot, the bonus figure is a deluxe (unless the 6th figure is a legend which would be whack).

You're assuming I want to combine these figures. As I already said earlier, for me, the four limbs the club is making work perfectly as stand alone figures a la the Toyworld Throttlebots. The combining aspect is a nice bonus I don't need or necessarily intend to use.

Hence why Bludgeon, for me, is the expendable one of the bunch.

Pretty sure it's already been mentioned but Ruckus should be the Swindle/Hound mold.

Love most of em, but Bludgeon just feels like a waste to me. Other than color scheme, which appears to be a mashup of colors that appear on Bludgeon Shell and inner robot, I'm just not seeing a resemblance. I believe the Onslaught mold could be used for so many other things that would fit better than Bludgeon. Would have been happier if they'd waited and used the Brawl mold and just maybe done a shell. I don't mean to be negative, overall I'm really impressed by the lineup!

    I need the MAYHEM.

So. Because the site doesn't seem to have much easy info. Do I need to be a tfcc member to subscribe? Or can.you do the figure subscription separately? I assume subscribing is cheaper then getting from bbts?

    Thanks.

You have to get the annual club membership in order to buy the figure subscription service (so tack on an extra $40ish).

Yeah when you put it that way if I was given $300 to buy transformers I would be going elsewhere :\ Especially considering how many copies of those molds I might already have. I'll wait for the G2 sets and pick those up be it via hasbro or botcon.

I dunno; he feels like a good fit from the Offroad mold considering that it's already sculptwise a Ruckus homage.

This is just putting him in proper colors.

What worries me, though, is the head on Skywarp/Ramjet, namely the giant crest that is the most distinctive feature...

Look at how Armada Starscream transforms. ZERO room for that headcrest unless they shrink the head, and even then it'd be a shrunk down crest.

There's always the off chance that the head is two pieces with the fin being able to fold backwards (essentially ending up where the lightpiping would be.)
Wow really guy? I know you're a Takara purist but this is quite the new low. First of all these are funpub exclusives which means Hasbro themselves had no plans to do these guys elsewhere. Second, while you may have found Universe Ramjet garbage not everyone else has. There's enough people that want an obscure homage like that and hence Funpub, who do obscure homages better than anyone, is doing it. It's being done for the fans but obviously if it's not Takara than it can't be for the fans right?

Agree. I was hoping there would be more discussion of the serious issues that constantly plague this 'fan club', but no, dangle some new shinies and everything is forgotten. Until next year.

Here's hope Takara announces to release that Skywarp and even a Thundercracker.

You have to subscribe to the club 1st for $42 but that includes the "freebie" figure which is CHUG Universe Ramjet.

Then you can sign up for the TFSS which is around $300 plus shipping but you'll get seven figures so around $50 each. Cheaper then buying from BBTS if it's a popular figure.

Alternatively, you can buy any extras that from the club store but club store pricing hasn't been cheap either.

Finally, you can buy unwanted from ebay or from the B/S/T thread.
