    Well, if I wasn't currently saving up for an Xbox One at the moment, I think I would get this guy. I still regret not getting the original when it was on shelves back in 2009.

    Trust me, you're not missing out on anything. I hate that they keep reissuing this mold when any of the three voyagers or even the first movie leader are all infinitely better toys.

    The head was excellent for kitbashing, beyond that he was pretty lacking.

    It's ironic that this mold is so looked down on; I remember at Botcon 2009 it sold out very quickly.
    Anyway I'm slightly intersted; I do wish we had a better ROTF Megatron that could stand up to the MP quality ROTF Optimus had but I'm still interested in this one as I never got the original.
    I'm also curious if Takara's testing the Megatron waters with this.

    The voyager Megatron from ROTF was a fantastic figure. While the backpack was a little large it was pretty accurate to his onscreen appearance. Can't say that for the first movie voyager. The first movie leader class figure is...ok. I wish Hasbro would reissue some figures, just voyager and leader class perhaps, from the earlier films. It would be nice so we wouldn't have to pay such a large price for Takara Tomy figures or off of eBay.

    I won't be surprised if other US / Asia online retailers will put out pre order soon. Same thing happened with previous TT Mall exclusives like MP Bluestreak and UW Guardian (Defensor).

    I have zero idea how much this costs but if they wanna charge more for older movie Figs how about just continuing the Asia Premium line? I really like my Leader Prime and Brawl figures that I've gotten through that line, how bout giving us Sentinel Prime or a non blue jeans wearing Ironhide? Hell, even metallic versions of HA Skids & Mudflap would be welcomed.

    Different companies; This will be released by TakaraTOMY, while the Asia Premium toy line is by Hasbro Asia posing as TakaraTOMY. Besides the Asia Premium toy line is not dead, is it?

    He's got Armada Galvatron colors and it works well on this mold, shame about the price.
