If that isn't a pricing error, TRU is out of their mind. Hasbro needs to do something to try to get their exclusives out to other retailers, because they won't have to worry about pitching exclusives to retailers if they're too expensive for collectors and parents to buy.

Unbelievable GARBAGE. What are they thinking? It's actually almost insulting.

I cringe at the thought of what they'll charge for Titan Devy!

SW I get, but how the hell can they charge that for OP???

I was thinking around 100$ tops, but double!!?!?!??!?

I think we know which of this years duo will warm the shelves in the coming year, why do they do this to themselves??

So if those reissue figures ever hit shelves stateside, I shudder to think what fresh hell awaits us with their price

How come Canadian board members act surprised when those toys have been out for weeks at Canadian retail (if not a couple months)? :)

Even though I live in Michigan, I suspect if I got in my car and drove there, by the time I arrived... There would still be 3 of each.

I mean, assuming you are a collector who is into these repaints or a MP completionist, you would have to be pretty dumb to pay these types of prices when they are both available for cheaper everywhere else.

I read articles where Hasbro starts to wonder why their various action figure lines aren't selling all that well...

Then I read articles about how TRU (one of the few places to consistently find new figures) are driving up prices to insane levels.

Surprised they don't see a correlation there.

Two of the best molds ever made ruined by the stupidest color scheme in history and then given an insanely high mark up.
    Unbelievable!

I don't think it's Hasbro setting the pricing scheme. Especially since TRU is charging $20 for Deluxe and everybody else only recently started getting close to $15-16.

I dread how much the TRU's here would sell that MP Soundwave for. My guess would be $225. Friggin' insane.

    Last I checked:

    RID legends $10
    RID deluxes $19.49
    CW legends $15
    CW deluxes $23
    CW voyagers $30
    CW leaders $58

I recall buying the Hasbro Soundwave for $135-ish. MP Acid Storm was around $85. Both MP Sunstorm and the MP Grimlock reissues were at $93. It's only gonna get worse I fear.

EDIT: The only CW figure I've bought from TRU was Leader G1 Megatron and it was $54. I went back a week later and the price increased to $58. The rest of my CW figures were from BBTS. Even with the shipping I saved decent money compared to the prices here.

Just wait for Bluestreak and Starscream to hit the shelves and start guessing how much they'll start charging for those 2. I did grab the YOTG SW but that was with a 20% coupon and using my r rewards to bring the price down substantially. I wouldn't mind having the OP since I have the other YOT. OP's already, but waiting for it to go on sale :p

How is TRU still in business selling things at KB's old Markup?

I still wish they had released soundblaster with ratbat and a nemesis prime rather than this garbage.. It would've been perfect.. Imthose are figures that plenty of people want but don't want to pay import prices for.

They could give them some awesome box art, maybe an extra accessory or something.. It just would've been a hell of a lot better than the hideous schemes they're using.
