I'm really glad to see more variety in the panels so major kudos for that. Though ironically surprised to see no IDW or Activision panels
It is kind of funny that the Golden Ticket holders get their picture with Welker FIRST on Friday and all the VIP's get to wait to get their picture on Saturday. Not really a big deal, but it's still funny.
Looks like the "Most Wanted" theme continues to extend past the box set. Animated Blurr shall live again! And yeah it doesn't outright say it's Animated Blurr but it's sounding pretty likely. I hope.
That looks like a great set of panels. Those are the types of panels I've been wanting to see for years, to bad I'm not going this year. Hopefully there will be descriptions of what was shown and talked about.
No mention of the Trivia Contest that was mentioned in the brochure. Hmm. I know the brochure mentioned they wanted to do it during the Awards Dinner/Charity Auction. So I'm wondering if they just chose not to mention it on the schedule since they consider it part of the awards dinner? Or did they change their mind and decide not to do it? I asked their Facebook page, let's see if we get an answer.
Nice spread of panels! There's a few there I'd want to attend as a fan, particularly that history of Transformers one.
Here's what the club posted in the FAQ, I think with such a huge capacity room you should have a good chance of getting in.: Q: Will Frank Welker be hosting a panel at BotCon and will General Admission be able to go to the panel? A: Yes, Mr. Welker will be hosting a panel at BotCon. It will be moderated by the BotCon staff. Everyone is invited to attend, however the order of seating will be VIP Pass and Golden Ticket Package holders (GT has reserved seating in the front of the room), all other registered attendees, then General Admission until we reach capacity. The room will hold approximately 1,500 attendees.
The Japanese Perspective. I hope someone video tapes that panel. I'm very interested in that. Shame Frank Welker won't be doing the script reading. that would have been legendary but I get it he's VIP.
For once in a long time, I feel like there are at least more panels I'm interested in attending beside the Hasbro one.
