Animatronic toyline? Didn't expect that so it should be interesting to see what kind of line is it.

Oh God, PLEASE no "RID" type movie where Bee is the leader. I'd rather have a Hound and Crosshairs movie.

Also, going off the rest of the article, they seem pretty confident in Paramount and their "success". 4 critically loathed movies where people care more about the humans than TFs....

    Yeah, THAT's success.

Bee's already been the focus that's not what I was expecting to hear from this expanded universe. Eh, he better at least have a voice this time

Unfortunately, the last two Transformers movies are currently both in the top 12 Worldwide Box Office Grosses of all time:
    via Box Office Mojo

So that's what he means by success, obviously. Doesn't matter what the critics say when the bottom line is at stake.

I'm a G1 purist myself but sadly, money talks, pays the bills, and drives the business, and somehow these TF movies are bringing home the bank. =(

So according to Hollywood "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". Many many coffers are being filled with what's being pumped out of there.

Make A billion on a movie and then you can talk success with confidence. Because unless we are working in opposite land, I could understand why the highest grossing movie, where the value of the people paying for the tickets outweigh what some hippie critics say, could be considered a success.

Yeah I want an all-transformers movie like the next fan, but I could hardly call the movie universe anything but successful.

I'm still waiting for the movies or comics to do a proper story of Optimus's early days on Cybertron. In a world when jobs were scarce, and a humble bot named Orion Pax was low on credits and low on energon.

A time when you did what you had to do to get by. A time when the fembots are willing to pay top dollar for a bot to take his torso plate off for entertainment.

Before he was Optimus. Before he was a librarian. Before he was a cop...

    He was Matrix Mike.

    Nudimus Prime was born.

Yep, money still spends the same regardless of where it's from, these people are delusional thinking the movies aren't successful they get more ridiculous the more these movies earn money and break records.

They need to say I don't like it and understand an understand that doesn't make it less successful.

Animitronic could be talking about some typ of thing like those little Hex Bugs and controllable things.

One of the few things I really liked about the last movie was more of the focus on Optimus over Bumblebee. Shame they're going backwards to Bee though.

"Speaking to the audience, Brian Goldner mentioned that there is a fluid play pattern when it comes to Transformers. He mentioned that there is a connection between Physical Play and Digital Play with Transformers Video Games and Transformers Mobile Games. This play pattern is dubbed as Phygital."

sounds alot like skylander/infinity type stuff to me.

I like Bee, I really do BUT for the love of Primus Hasbro/Paramount, focus on other characters. How about Swipe, Jazz, Prowl, Bluestreak, Blurr, Blaster, Drift, Sunstreaker, Crosshairs, Hot Shot, Mirage, Magnus, Smokescreen, Wheeljack, Nightbeat, Cliffjumper, Windcharger, Jolt, Chromia, Aerialbots, Red Alert, Perceptor, Gears, Cosmos, Seaspray, Beachcomber, Ratchet, First Aid, Evac........Take your pick. There's a plethera of Bots and Cons to choose from. Bumblebee, Prime and Rodimus are not the end all be all of the Transformers Universe.
