I hope Takara's is revealed before this becomes available so we can determine what's best.

I thought this would be G2. Clearly it's g1 with some more paint- but I'm not sure how much yet.

After years of not having to stalk the HTS website (though I really should have picked up the SDCC Metroplex when I could have), I hope to get lucky this year. Would really like this one. Halfway glad it isn't the G2, as if I miss this I won't be overly upset.

Cool; all the people who weren't going to SDCC but wanted a G2 deco Devastator should be happy about this.

(As let's face it, a G2 one WILL happen sooner or later. That's inevitable given Hasbro will want to recoup costs.)

I was really expecting a yellow deco, but this looks so much more awesome! If it's not more than 150 bucks, I may pick it up once I secure a job for the summer.

 

I honestly like the normal one better. Especially since this will be Scalper Bait

 

Yellow deco would've been cool, but I understand why they stuck with the traditional green. But using colored chrome? Likely to flake just like every other chromed figured I've ever seen/owned. Glad to stick with retail.

 

Hopefully this means that a G2 Yellow one will be a Store Exclusive which while a pain to get most of the time it's easier than anything SDCC

 

Any chance that this could be for Botcon and not SDCC?

 

The same thing was said about Metroplex becoming Metrotitan though, which led to my eternal disappointment.

Curse my color blind eyes! When I first saw the pic it looked yellow to me and I got excited. Now I really won't mind missing it. The Takara will undoubtedly look equally as awesome if not better and won't be ridiculously frustrating to acquire, plus won't have insane shipping costs.

Had it been G2, I would've hounded that website like there was no tomorrow.

If history is any indication, it's better to wait for Takara's Devastator than fork out the premium for this thing on Ebay.
