Looks like Tracks is joining the ex-RiD cast? Regardless, we'e getting a story focused on Needlenose! That makes me happy--wanted more on the character for ages. What's either Cheetor or Tigatron in Windblade also makes me excited.

 

Looks like Megatron's gonna visit the Autobot equivalent of Arlington National Cemetary.

 

So it seems Beast Wars is finally going to be showing up in IDW.   Man I can't wait to see how they'll handle the story there in the second Windblade series.

Also I love the TFP intro homage in the regular issue cover for RID15.   Brings back memories.

 

It already did a long time ago. Rattrap and Rhinox both exist in IDW.

 

But now we're getting full-on Maximals and (presumably) Predacons.

 

As well as Waspinator I know that. I've meant to say we get to finally see the rest of the Beast formers in IDW both G1,BW,and other beast related characters.

 

While the Megatron cover is interesting, you've got me with the Beast Wars one. I thought it was Cheetor at first but on second glance the green hand and the green/black shadows of the figure might mean its Tigatron?

I suspect Dinobot's a lock too given Mairghread's a fan of him. And hopefully Tarantulas/Megatron make the cut, yesssss.

 

I think that's actually more likely to be Tigatron than Cheetor. Sharktibolt pointed out the green hand, plus he has the red eyes and red faction symbol.

 

Anyone else notice Josh created a paradox by tweaking his fanart for a cover?

 

I was considering stopping RID but 44 sounds like something like a refreshing change from Earth and Combiners.

 

Well, both Cheetor and Tigatron had red faction symbols (where there any non-red Maximal logos in Beast Wars?), the eye-colour actually looks halfway between Cheetor's yellow and Tigatron's red and the thinner nose points towards it being Cheetor (Tigatron had a much broader schnozz).

 

Given that Needlenose is one of the Earth Decepticons, I think there's a good chance the stuff with him and Tracks is taking place on Earth. (and there have already been several issues off-Earth...)

Oh, right, he didn't he? Regardless, those eyes are the same shading of red as the symbol--I'm not seeing any halfway there at all. And that nose looks pretty broad to me, but eh. The green hand still makes me think it's Tigatron.

 

Though Tigatron traditionally is also a pacifist who doesn't like fighting the war.

 

I'd totally expect Tracks to do something like that. Maybe not with Needlenose, but still.

Yeah, but I don't think there's anything in this cover or solicit contradicting that. Covers like exaggerating, and him clawing the Autobot banner might just representative of conflict between groups. (and I don't think that is very Cheetor-like, either)

 

I kind of want a poster of that Megs/cemetery cover.

Might be a shot in the dark still at this point, but after appearances here and there early on in RiD and maybe a co-spotlight of sorts here, maybe we can get a Needlenose toy.

 

Maybe that grave is Dominus Ambus', considering the characters in frame
