Personally, I think $40 is the fair price, considering that's basically the cost of a membership. But that's just me.

Its definitely a cheap and easy way to up grade your Nova, but its just a matter of time before somebody offers an upgrade kit.

 

yea, probablly going to give Nova Prime a HUGE armor upgrade and proper 'Hi-Nu' gundam backpack.. like this..

 

I hope so, but very seldom do upgrades get made for Botcon/Club items, due to their already limited nature. I think the Maketoys Tankers are the only upgrades out there thus far.

My Lio came yesterday as well. Had to run by the apartment's office during break to grab the package. Opened him up for a quick once over. The paint job looks wonderful in alt mode. No time to transform him now, back to work.

 

That actually looks pretty sick as well. Haven't tried connecting it in truck mode.

Iirc, there was a third party working on an armor set for Orion Pax, so maybe they'll continue work on it now that there are a few different color schemes for the mold.

 

I got mine today. He looks 95% great. The paint application on his face needs work. Not sure why the paint on his face looks sloppy but the rest of his body looks perfect.

IIRC it was just a typical G1-esque fold-out battle platform thing. With a new head maybe. It was X2 Toys or Impossible Toys I think. Although If they scrap that idea and go for a Godbomber type of armor upgrade for Orion Pax, they could easily remold the wings and call it a day.
