Way to make up for last week FP! I have no connections to these guys and only want Battletrap but I might just keep this last guy cause he looks cool enough. Though I hate Pretenders as a whole.
This was one hell of a way to end the reveals. We all knew there would be a pretender shell involved but never expected to see them go to those lengths to make one hell of a new mold entirely, and one specifically designed to hold Swerve and his weapon partner.
Not sure if serious ? If you are serious, you may be the first TF fan preferring a remold over a entirely new mold.
One thing I gotta say - in retrospect this makes the egg motif BRILLIANT. I'm sure we all figured it was just an Easter reference that eventually started to get old, but to have this layered of a reference was incredibly clever.
Just dawned on me, this is the first time there has been a completely new mold used for a Botcon exclusive isn't it? We've gotten heavy retoolings in the past and of course the new heads but this Oilmaster shell is brand spanking new just for Botcon and I'm loving it. There were a few people thinking Oilmaster would be a repaint of the Bumblebee suit. Thankfully they were dead wrong and we got this beautiful piece of plastic.
Well...it appears they've managed to outdo their impressive Scorponok from last year. Well played, Collector's Club, well played, indeed.
I would think 100%. Although, in what manner? Add-on? Customizing class? Subscription Service? Club exclusive?
