Read the comments I made. It's mainly because a major character was released with so many niggling issues.

Universe gave us some great figures but Ironhide wasn't one of them - great figures like Cyclonus, Seekers, Prowl, Sideswipe, Hound and Inferno.

 

Ok, sucked was not a good word to use, but a lot of the figures aren't as good as they're recent updates (I.E. CW Cyclonus).
In the end, what I meant was that there are a lot of bad figures in that line too (Galvs, Cheetor, Prime).

 

So many great figures from that line. I like Octane, Cyclonus is great and am only getting CW Cyclonus for the combiner mode as I feel the previous Cyclonus is the better fig.

 

Trust me, you didn´t missed out anything.

Also Trailbreaker a bad release ? Man, that´s so, so wrong.

 

Well with a Legends Stripes and Rewind... could stand to reason that Ravage and Eject wouldn't be far behind.

Still have Soundwave in what seems to be a CW Prime retool here too:

As well as an APC mode, which Rook sports... So who knows. (But SW and Blaster would be nice.)

 

Don't like the op/mm mold but Soundwave would be hard to resist

 

I'm still hoping he comes out after the potential CW Predacons, I'd love to see Soundwave combine with Buzzsaw, Lazerbeak (Divebomb), Ravage (Rampage) and a random new characters to get thrown in the mix.

Not to mention being stuck with that problem ridden toy without a new replacement for our classics shelves. Unless we turned to third party companies that is.

 

I feel bad enough getting that 'Prime from Hasbro, and at least Motormaster is from TT and will have the PE upgrade kit, but... SOUNDWAVE, nope, skipping that. And for all its problems, UT Warlord, will be my CHUG Predaking. The only possibility is that PE gets around to making that Menasor upgrade kit in a lot of different colors.

I really, really hope this does not happen. We've waited so long for a Classics Soundwave, it was be a massive disappointment if he ended up a retool that can't even hold his minions. Thankfully this likely won't happen, as that's just a badly drawn version of the Earth form he's had since Earth Fall, which usually doesn't look that much like Optimus in robot mode, and looks nothing like him in Vehicle mode.

As for Rook into Soundwave... Don't even joke about that.

 

Rook into Soundwave would be fine, however a voyager would be better especially when voyagers are coming thick and fast.

I keep seeing people say Galvatron? That toy's only real flaw is it's size and that's not something I hold against a toy.

Probably a minority but id like to see Soundwave as limb for galvatronus

 

I think we can be reasonably confident at this stage that Soundwave and Blaster will be Leader Class figures. The Legends listings we've seen feature Buzzsaw but not Laserbeak and Stripes but not Ravage, so it's pretty clear that Soundwave and co. will be at a price point big enough to have one (or two?) tapes packed in with them.

Not to mention that that's literally the only panel where that design even vaguely matches up with OP. That's an aberration, not a hint.

It's boxy and has two wheels on each leg. That's it people.

 

I don't disagree. That would have been my first guess before Cyclonus came along. Still on my short list.

Re-shelling on top of retooling adds a whole lot of possibilities. Crazy as it sounds, you could probably make a new Scattershot and re-tool it as Hungrrr. Jet thrusters turned into monster heads. Jet nosecone turned into monster tail. The retooling part involves repositioning the main body mass in the two different modes.

While I'm mentioning candidates for Hungrrr, look at last year's Brainstorm figure and tell me that couldn't be retooled into a nice two-headed beast.

 

I have one great hope for Bruticus: Please be anatomically correct. Up until now Superion is the only CW gestalt that doesn't look like a complete mess.
