If they're holding the final vote on the Transformers Facebook page again, I think there's a good possibility that Linkin Park could win if they're an option on the ballot.

never even heard of "Lion"... what did they sing? Some context for these would have been nice.

If the final vote is on Facebook and Linkin Park is one of the options, I'll be shocked if they don't win.

I voted Ford Kinder and Anne Bryant, cause not a day goes by without me singing "Autobots wage their battle to destroy the evil forces of the Decepticons!"

As much as I wanted to vote for Jablonsky, I had to give it to them first above all.

Jam Project for making one of the most epic theme song for the franchise by far.

    Here's what I don't get.

Personal tastes aside, Linkin Park has put a decent amount of work into the franchise, more than many other non-score composers outside of possibly Stan Bush.

    - They've been featured on three of the four film soundtracks, with their songs being 'showcase' tracks for both the 2007 film and Revenge of the Fallen (used in a lot of the film promotion), and one of the songs even being specifically written for the film (New Divide for Revenge of the Fallen, which is also apparently one of their most critically-acclaimed songs).

    - They've collaborated with Steve Jablonsky for part of the score of both Revenge of the Fallen and Dark of the Moon.

    - Their association with the franchise has been strong enough that another song of theirs (Until It's Gone) was used in advertising for Rise of the Dark Spark, and there was genuine surprise from the general public when they weren't attached to Age of Extinction.

    - While the end result is pretty substandard, Hasbro created a limited edition TF figure in collaboration with the band.

Again, putting personal tastes aside, that strikes me as pretty dang influential, and not just for the "twelve-year-olds" to vote for. Also not really worth Boo-ing if they win. I'm not telling you to like the band, but seriously, what do you gain from being so obstinately negative about their very inclusion?

Vince DiCola's score in TF is amazing. I can't imagine the movie without his music running in the background! :)

Decided to go with Vince DiCola. His score in TFTM was fantastic and there are some that were pretty epic like "2005" right after the opening credits; both of the battle scores, first half from the soundtrack and the second half when we see Wheeljack and Windcharger's corpse; the Decepticon Retreat; and the haunting sound of both the Death of Optimus and Unicron's theme.

Also he has done a fantastic job on the soundtrack to Angry Birds Transformers as well.

It's because while the argument can be made they have a place in the HOF eventually there are people and groups that should go in before they do. After Ford Kinder and Anne Bryant, Vince DiCola and Weird Al sure. First time in the Catagory ahead of the above listed HELL NO.

Personally, I love Linkin Park and I was over the moon when they became involved with the franchise. I think their music was perfect for the first movies and I was disappointed when they were replaced (I don't particularly like the Imagine Dragons song, despite liking their big song "Radioactive"). I think they have done a lot to make the franchise popular and relevant with their target audience, the youth of today. I'd love for them to be inducted. I doubt it will happen this year, but maybe next year because I do think they deserve the recognition for the work they've put in.

...I think LP did more for Transformers, in terms of music, than Weird Al.
