    He was booked for Gem City Comic Con at the Nutter Center about 5 minutes away from my home a few weeks ago. I had Marvel's Transformers #12 that he drew ready for him to sign, but he pulled out of the con a couple of days before it happened. After seeing this, I wonder if deteriorating health leading up to his death is why he couldn't attend.

    RIP Herb, you drew a fair chunk of my childhood and your Hulk is still the one I picture in my head whenever I think of the Jade Giant.

    A sad loss indeed.
