I know this is an unpopular opinion, but he looks awful.

 

Impressive.

Though Defensor's the most boring combiner ever made, CW version look awesome. I'm actually liking him better than Superion.

 

Digging this Defensor as well.

Wasn't sure about how the waist would be in poses given where the joints are, but it seems to work well enough here.

 

seems to be the best torso in all three modes. I'm hyped for Bruticus.

I can imagine there being a third party add-on for Hot Spot/Onslaught's thighs so you can do the extended leg mode without it being too lanky looking.

 

Its the best combiner ever made. Third time is the charm

 

I don't mind Rook being added to the Protectobot team but would have loved to see Minerva there!

 

First aid is the best foot man.....look at that foot/knee.

this is a joke, right?   I never liked him. Japanese combiners are overrated to me.

 

Most of them do look odd, even for what they are. Just odd looking.

Wow, Rook looks kinda dull as a leg. That's a shame.

That said, don't care. Bring it on.

 

Extending Hot Spot's robot legs, like in this picture, definitely helps Defensor not look so short and squat, but we need a 3P crotch plate to cover them up.

Other then that, he looks OK. Blades looks too skinny compared to the other limbs, but it's not too bad. I do like how it looks when you colour code the limbs. Red as arms, and blue as legs, or vice versa.

 

Yawn. Wake me up when Groove gets a limb.
