The good thing about Stepper is that he isn't just the same colors as Ricochet only on a different toy. And while Stepper doesn't homage any other character than his own G1 toy, it still looks a decent toy to me. As for him being Shattered Glass, I doubt that would mean very much in the comic. He would just be an evil guy who isn't an evil Decepticon.

 

What if the Pretender shell is the attendee freebie?

 

Guys, you do know this is just going to be SG Swerve.  

 

While I'd consider that hilarious, it would pretty much require giving away the secret before the convention. To the best of my knowledge, they've only done that once before (under circumstances that wouldn't really apply here... at least not at this stage of the process), and I don't think they'd consider that a particularly good idea.
