So how did you any problem with fitting of the sword handle? Initially I thought it was rather loose but after finding out from Ben's youtube review, I had another go at him holding it properly.

Now everything is perfect! Just need to carefully put the peg of the sword handle onto the slot on his fingers that's all.

The Combiner port for Victory saber is more like ankle Tilt (basic clip point.)

I do not think you can use the generation combination port because you needed a major change to all G1 combiners. Remember, you needed to allow the smaller figures to act as arm or Leg. (Lio Kaiser is a special case!)
You needed a combiner port that allowed multiple articulations as well support the weight for the smaller figures.

I remember doing the same thing way back in 2003 with MP-01 Convoy! My Dad took me to the UPS warehouse to pick it up because we kept missing the delivery at home. I couldn't wait to see the first Transformers Masterpiece, so I carefully unboxed him in the car on the way home. MP01/MP04 remain my favorite Masterpieces so far, but Star Saber is a worthy member of the line.

    Ah, good memories! :)

Good for you DukeFett! Would you be good enough to give us your thoughts on StarSaber's QC & overall look when you can, plus maybe adding a few pics, please?

Loving this figure so far! Just some minor iffy transformations in the smaller robot and V Star's backpack, but I'll get used to it eventually.. :lol

QC is near perfect in terms of paint, but there is a slightly annoying gap on the left upper torso / shoulder-pad of the smaller robot- plane, Saber. Gahhhh. >_<

As much as I want to love this toy it has been spoiled by the fact that I'm on my second one and it still has some pretty major qc issues. The first one had two left upper arms on saber making it impossible to combine with the v star, and now this second one has a crooked pin on the foot and a slightly off ratchet joint in the hips of the v star. I really don't want to exchange it again as BBTS took forever, so, if anyone has a good way of getting the pin out so I can a least fix the foot it would be greatly appreciated.
