this guy right here. he speaks truth

with our luck it'll replace combiner wars, masterpiece, and platinum edition.
weather it's hasbro's intention or not; that's how it'll inevitably wind up at retail. pegs swimming in these things with nary a combaticon or technobot to be found.

that said, they do look kinda interesting design wise. i kinda like the "incorporated trailer" design that prime has been getting lately. gives the designers a chance to do something fresh.
the way Bee transforms reminds me of Animated, and that is never a bad thing.
    Megatron looks suitably beefcake.

so bee and prime will be 11 inches tall? and Megatron 7? so that would place megs roughly at deluxe scale and optimus/bee at voyager?

People seem more accepting of these than I thought. :lol

If these were legit Legion-sized I might be interested (although these are redundant with the existing Legends), but 7"/11" simplistic figures that can't hide the robot arms/feet? Pass.

All of the transformations look like scaled up Legends/Cyberverse figure, but the actual toolings seem completely new.

And I'm in the group that wagers that the Starscream prototype from that museum will probably be form this line.

They look like they're better action figures than the 1 step changers, so I'm fully behind these. I'll get some for my nephews.

If they promise to remove all the springs and buttons, I'm all in.

I like the idea of simple transformations, but I could KILL the guy who came up with the horrible Bot Shots and spring transformations! They barely work now, guess what they'll be like in 10 years! :banghead:

My kid would love these, as long as it didn't keep springing out of alt mode... :banghead:

Designs aren't too inspired, but they'll join my Prime-Bee-Megatron shelves anyway.

That Grimlock looks good. A nice blend of G1 and AOE. Bleh another BumbleBee!

I like them because even though they are simplified, they are decently detailed. So they look good even standing in a neutral pose.

For a simplified toy, that 11" Prime looks awesome, but I wish Megatron was 11" tall and BumbleBee was 7".

I'd be interested in buying an Optimus. Had Megatron been 11" I would have considered buying him too, but oh well.

I thought the "simplified" line was supposed to be separate from Generations.

Vehicle mode with a picture of the bot mode pasted on the bottom, stand the car on end and instant car to bot mode. They could call it ultra or ultimate one step.:lol

The 7" Grimlock looks less like a new mold and more like somebody took RiD Warrior Grimlock and gave him a retooling to look morel like AoE Grimlock.

Bee looks like his movie cyberverse toy with a new face. Grimlocks looks pretty neato though.

    cor blimey!
ok 11 inches sounds like a good size for Prime (especially with his trailer contributing to the overall mass. one could make a pretty legit star convoy or thunderclash outta him. anything bigger than deluxe is just too damned big for a car though.
roughly voyager sized tank megatron sounds good though. im down.
