Seibertron has posted these pics from that new Childrens museum display in Indianapolis. Looks pretty weird, cartoony-style. They're saying it might be Combiner Wars, but who knows.

UPDATE: Apparently this was from a line that was considered before the TF: Prime line was conceived. See updated info below.

More pics at their link, I didn't want to bring them all over since they found the pics.

Voyager Starscream Prototype - Possible Generations Combiner Wars Figure - Transformers

And thanks to Ra88, we have a speculated origin from reddit:

I love the Armada Starscream mold but I must say that Voyager Starscream always intrigues me.

Interesting. Hard to tell when it's so mistransformed, but it looks similar to the IDW design. It definitely has the hollow look of the current Combiner Wars figs (especially the arms & legs).

...Seriously, could it be more mistransformed?

First glance that looks like an upscaled version of the legends Prime Smokescreen.

That's the upscaled-from-Legion Beast Hunters Deluxe Smokescreen mould with a lightbar. I guess Prowl would've been made if they'd done more than one wave of those upscaled figures.

Well if the Prowl is a trashed prototype, I hope the Starscream isn't...

If this ends up getting released I'll be 100% all over it. I've been wanting a voyager seeker mold for a while because the deluxe is too damned small (and outdated). After that they just have to release a good G1 based voyager Shockwave and Soundwave and I'll be set.

Really liking the idea of finally having a voyager Seeker mold, too bad there's no knees.

That Starscream prototype looks like it's engineered in a similar way to those upscaled Beast Hunters Voyagers from last year (and similarly I'm pretty sure that Prowl is a retool of the upscaled Smokescreen). Could it be that these are just left over from when Hasbro were experimenting with larger, but more cheaply made figures?
Starscream just doesn't fit in if you compare him to other Generations and Combiner Wars voyagers. Silverbolt and Optimus/Motormaster simply don't have nearly as many blatantly hollow bits. And it doesn't even look like he has working knees, something I doubt they'd omit on a Gen/CW Voyager.

There does not seem to be a joint for the shoulder to bend down vertically...

It doesn't look like that has combiner ports to me. Still, just seeing unreleased prototypes gives me a slight sense of nostalgia. Seems like every upcoming release used to be leaked by a prototype first.
