Totally, she's a great artist, I love the energy and the life she injects into the characters. I got a couple of her prints at TFcon Chicago last year - she was understandably busy so didn't get a chance to chat much, but she's a cool person too (in my experience, all the TF artists are)

 

See, it's a cover like this that reminds me why I dislike "liquid metal mouths". It's nice overall, though.

This is an OK cover. Nice unique idea but not unique art. Not knocking it, just feels generic

I agree with you all, Bee did the best he could with very little to work with. I feel like IdW was like getting a glimpse at DW Bee for me. Oh and that cover is banging I'm kinda crushing on Stones art I think it might be serious.

Hey, people talking about their opinions on Autocracy. That's good, because I just finished reading it. I got it back during that sale at Comixology... last week I think. It was just too boring for me to read with any speed, but I didn't hate it.

The only thing that I think is so awful that it needs a retcon is Rodimus destroying Nyon. Some of the people he killed might have managed to escape if he didn't blow them up. It really makes the LL's Co Captain seem horrible. Plus, it undermines Furman's arc for him, not that I care about anything Furman wrote. His stuff was almost as bad.

 

Sara Stone just continues to amaze me with her use of color as part of the narrative.

Once again, Sarah Stone continues to amaze us with her beautiful artwork. Gorgeous! Absolutely gorgeous! I love Bee's paint peeling and that faraway look in his eyes. Gives you a sense that something is going to happen for those who haven't read RID.

 

It's already been a long time.....

 

I still only have 1-4 of Phase 1. I need to catch up, I love having these in nice hardcover collections!

I'd be shocked if it comes out on the 4th or the 18th of Aug. It'll be delayed a month at least based on IDW HC released.
