I'm not a model guy but I am a complete Reprolabes whore and I'm very good at applying even the smallest of them. When I came across these in a toy store a few months ago on clearence and I figured "hey what the hell". I bought the Enterprise D and the X-Wing. I have never been so frustrated in my life. I built the Enterprise and it doesn't look completely terrible. But I couldn't bring myself to build the X-wing and promptly sold it on eBay.

 

Because it was something that always bugged me about the G1 cartoon.

Pretty much every optimus figure that's out there, he's got tires on his legs. Which, makes sense given his alt mode.

Besides, I felt MP-10 was the best G1 inspired example to base it off of. We had to ship the factory that makes these something to work from, and then I had them tweak the design from there.

Megatron was based off of Takara MP5 but I had the factory tweak the design to give him thicker legs unlike the skinny MP-5 legs.

Just like with anything else, you can't please everyone with everything.

But we hope the designs of the product are good enough that fans will have at least one model they like.

I haven't gotten any of these yet but am going to get Prime, Megs and Soundwave. I might order the Normandy first to try them out first since the others are on pre-order.

I saw the main site for these and man those are really awesome designs.  

Did you design the Enterprise-D set? Just wondering what was up with the error on that one? Was there a plan to make the AGT's Enterprise and something slipped through?

Are these really must have? I figured it would probably be better though. I've never done any of these so have no experience but wasn't sure exactly what was needed. Thanks for the heads up though.
