A friend of mine was doing a check of product in the Product Information Database at his store (to protect him I will only say it is a large supercenter) and came across two listings in the Voyager sections. First and foremost, it can be CONFIRMED that we are getting Voyager Cyclonus. It appears he will be the Wave Mate of Protectobot Hot Spot, as both use have similar coding (Hot Spot is B2397 and Cyclonus is B2398). They are also one digit off in UPC (Hot Spot is 63050929832 and Cyclonus is 63050929833).

The other news is that the White Optimus Repaint will be named Optimus Maximus. He will be Wave 4 (his code is B2727, upc 63050932502).

I also have, if anyone is interested, the UPCs for all the upcoming Deluxes and Legend figures. Nothing that hasn't been already confirmed by the Toys R Us. Wave 3 Deluxe will be the Protectobots and Wave 4 will be the Masquerade Figures. For the Legends it is harder to tell Waves but we'll have Blackjack, Huffer, Groove, Warpath, Viper, Rodimus and Skywarp.

 

Cyclonus will probably use the silverbolt mold

Actually, just for giggles, I hope this is AEC Cyclonus.

That was my first guess. Hope I'm wrong, but it would be "quick" to do. (while a Scattershot remold would take longer and come later)

 

So the Protectobots will all come in one wave? Excellent! None of this waiting around to complete the gestalt like with Superion

Mirage, Ironhide, Sunstreaker, and Prowler will also be in one wave together, not being broken up here. If I had to guess, I would say, based on waves, that the Masquerade figures will be grouped with Maximus.

 

Toyfair is going to be boring this year...I feel like I know everything that's coming out this year already. LOL  

Hope there's a few curveballs thrown in there by 'sBro.

 

I'm vaguely afraid its combiner head will be an homage to Fortress Maximus, and Hasbro will think that will satisfy people hoping for an eventual Titan Fort Max.

Interesting. I'm happy with my Deluxe class Cyclonus, but the idea of the Silverbolt mold done-up as him sounds tempting. I was kinda hoping that the masquarade wave would be the next one. I'm going to wait and see, ut I might actually get the Protectobots.

I wonder what the bio for this "Optimus Maximus" is going to be, and what the over-all paint-job will be like. Might be worth getting, since I like the mold, but have no interest in either Motormaster or another Voyager class Optimus Prime.

I just can't see a good Cyclonus coming from the Silverbolt mold.

Silverbolt mold for Cyclonus sounds puke. The whole idea of Cyclonus allowing himself to combine with anyone sounds puke (maybe with Tailgate). If they give us a voyager Cyclonus then it should be a new mold just made for his very own level of awesomeness. Failing that, the voyager Brainstorm mold would work.  

 

Any guesses as to who or what Legends Viper is?

 

Really hoping that Cyclonus is a Brainstorm remold, but expecting it to be Silverbolt because that was rumored already as well.

 

I'm guessing a Decepticon repaint of Powerglide.

 

I think that's a purple (maybe?) repaint of Powerglide based on a G.I. Joe Rattler vehicle.

 

I'm surprised people think Cyclonus will use the Silverbolt mold when the Brainstorm mold is more likely. It fits the character better and we don't know for sure what re-use is planned for it. The Headmaster cockpit could easy be repurposed for Nightstick, too.
