Calm down, the set date isn't until 7/30. If California is getting their transition stock, that means that stores in NJ(you) and Fl)me) should be getting theirs Friday or Monday.

 

And I (Ia) should be getting them sometime in November.

Yeah, I know... but I'm talking beyond Target. TRUs everywhere but near me have the small titaniums. Hell, other people in my state have them but my local store doesn't. And that's on top of the long-sitting irritation that were originally due out in April.

Those pictures bring a question to mind. Not that's it's super important, but in previous pictures they've had this horrible sloppily applied black wash. In these pictures, they look pretty clean. I'm hoping that these pictures are accurate.

So, do they have the sloppy wash and the pictures are just washing it out, or are they pretty clean looking?

To clear the air up a bit, no Triformis is NOT a scalper...

We have a system devised here for us NorCal people to protect ourselves from scalpers... Meaning we all let each other know what we want and if someone sees them, we grab them for our tight knit group of NorCal collectors... And we have a network that's working great so far...

Anything we don't keep goes right back to the stores or we send to people on the boards here...

I know I actively hunt for friends on the boards in other states as well with no price hike...

So please do not accuse members here as scalpers before knowing the entire story...

 

Many thanks for the back-up, Razerwire (and others)! I was just about to post myself and tell those of you who would label me a scalper that I am the antithesis of a scalper. I mainly live to help others. I grabbed 3 sets: 1 for Razerwire, 1 for me, and 1 for a friend of mine who lives a ways North of me and couldn't come himself. I left a Megs. there for some other lucky bastard. Razerwire and I are part of a NorCal toy network that is all about the fans and hooking each other up (with toys, that is).

In regards to the earlier comment about the blackwash, I'm not a paint Nazi (not that that's a bad thing, mind you!), but I can say that when I look closely, I think I do see a faint blackwash on some parts, but it's really not that noticeable and keep in mind that my pics suck, so whatever detail you're looking for in them is probably not very clear.

I certainly hope that no one thinks I was claiming the toys were being scalped. I was really just joking.

 

The TF section is next to the SW one at Target, but the 2 don't mix except for the SW/TF stuff, so nope, they had/have their own small slice of shelf (multiple pegs in fact - they were hanging)

In response to the scalping thing, joking's all good and I can usually tell, but there were 1 or 2 comments that sounded like whining/bitching directed at me, so I felt I should respond.  

 

So these hang on cards? They don't sit on the shelf below? OK, thanks. I would have looked for a shelf tag by the Alts or BWX.

 

So Trifomis, how do you like these 6" Titanium figures? Were they worth the wait?

 

I hope BBTS gets theirs in soon, I don't know how much longer I can tell myself that logically it's wise to not hunt everywhere and save gas by buying online.
