Eh, pretty unnecessary IMO.

 

Good for VW fans with the Decklid Badge and the Hubcap VW Logos

 

The Spike ones are nice, but honestly the Bumblebee ones are pretty weak and do nothing to improve the figure, heck some of them (like the ones on the spare tire case) actually make it look worse.

 

I CAN'T STAND the spare tire on the rear of the car. It is wrong in every possible way.

A sticker set that promotes that is not winning any points with me.

 

yeah mine stays in the box. I really dig the Spike ones, the license plate, bumper sticker and added VW elements.

 

Well, G1 Bumblebee always had a spare tire, though it was a sticker, it wasn't until the mold started getting reissued and the rub sign getting moved to behind the head when he lost the spare.

 

True, and I like the concept, but the spare just looks weird on him. Maybe in Robot mode I'll use it with the sticker, but never in car mode.

 

It wasn't a spare tire on the original Bumblebee, it was an exposed engine fan as seen on customized Beetles that had the engine cover removed.

 

You can always just only use it in robot mode, and clip it under the car in altmode.

 

Or just leave it off entirely. Why the fuss?

Also, I've never ever seen a Volkswagen Beetle with a spare tire on its rear, and I'm pretty sure it would be a bad idea to store one there, considering the engine is rear-mounted and it is air-cooled, meaning it needs the ventilation grills to be free (hence the exposed fan on customized beetles). VW Beetles have a spare tire under the hood. As far as I'm concerned, having Bumblebee's spare tire stuck under the front between the front wheels is a perfect solution.

Back on the topic of the Reprolabels: I personally think they are unnecessary and none of these make Bumblebee OR the exo-suit look any better. Well, I like the silver side mirror sticker, but that's it.

 

Dammit, I wrote to them ages ago suggesting they include "I8DECEPS" and "I[heart]CYBERTRON" stickers for Bumblebee's arms. I'm not surprised they didn't given that these appeared on his arms in only a single panel from the Marvel movie comic, but I would have loved those:



I also suggested they create a G1 package art grill-style sticker for his rear window:



I'm surprised they didn't include that, as that seemed an obvious one.

Oh well. As it is, the blue sticker for the extra window panel and the licence plate stickers are quite nice, but everything else here seems completely unnecessary and a bit disappointing, really.

 

Not getting this, but the side mirror & license plates sticker as well as the stickers for the sides of Spike's helmet are great ideas.

 

I like this set and will be getting it.
That's the beauty of Reprolabels sets, you can pick and choose what you want to apply.
All my MP's get some Reprolabel love!
Each to their own though I guess.

This is alright, I will probably pick it up. I really only want these sets for the license plates, so I don't see myself using everything included. I will most likely wait until a set comes out for the mighty MP-22, and buy all the MP car sets all in one go.
