Eh, I prefer the onscreen version of the character, and I think the mould itself looks cool anyway-- I'll paint on the missing details myself.

And yes, definitely! Agh, I wish I could go looking for one now, but they just HAD to come out in the middle of the ridiculous East Coast blizzard. As for Wave 3, I'm banking on an announcement at Toy Fair. Here's hoping we'll see a Warrior Sideswipe or Thunderhoof, among others.

 

I will be sure to keep my eyes peeled. Super excited to get my hands on that Drift (and OP, of course).

Optimus looks good. Are they really not doing larger non-simple versions, live Voyagers or whatever? A Voyager Optimus and Grimlock would be great.

I remember when Beast Machines, RID, Armada, etc each first appeared in stores and buying a good chunk of them on the first sighting. But now there are only Deluxes. That makes me a little sad. (But there's still the whole Generations line, so I shouldn't complain.)

 

Hello new member of my Optimus shelf. I think I had nine last time I counted? I like the weapon of this new Prime as well as the design features. A full truck and trailer, that is not a common one with these smaller scale Optimus Primes. Looks to be missing some show accurate details and features somekibble on his arms but I don't think I will be too distracted.

The kids in the family would probably enjoy having their own.

 

I found Drift today. Reminds me a lot of Unicron from Prime. I'll try to do a review tonight. I really like him.

 

That's reassuring to hear-- I'm really excited to get my hands on one too. Can't wait for said review!

In any case, I do want both of these guys. Optimus became my favorite legion figure and this looks even cooler.

Hopefully some reviews come out quick, so I can see what's going on with the Optimus mold. I have the Takara Nemesis Prime preordered.

 

Just judging from that single pic of Drift in package, he looks like he almost has the same transformation scheme as Bumblebee. Is that true?
