As much as I want a classics Knockout, the fact he appears to have a blue Nightstick would indicate a Targetmaster. I am not 100% convinced it's the Jazz mold, but it is a car of some sort. Could we be looking at an updated Pointblank?

 

Granted I thought the red Jazz might be Roadrocket at first but taking the Targetmaster in mind I'm almost 100% sure he's going to be a Shattered Glass Ricochet at this point. His old Botcon bio sure adds credibility to the "loose cannon" title and the original Classics/United Ricochet toy did come with Nightstick.

And if my guess is right I'm thinking this set might be a sort of reunion special of past Botcon characters with Battletrap being the only new guy. We've pretty much confirmed Packrat at this point, and with strong possibilities of Jazz and Breakdown being SG Ricochet and Landshark, both previous Botcon exclusives, I wouldn't be surprised if the Swerve repaint might turn out to be a familiar character as well.

 

What if the red Jazz is Zoom-Zoom? Remember, Jazz's red twin from Binaltech?

I'm still crossing my fingers for Rad from Jazz. I know the mold has gotten a lot of use but it's a great mold and it translates well to many other characters. That and I simply, selfishly want Rad. I owned three Action Masters when I was younger, Rad, Skyfall and Treadshot. They've got one of three done.   Come to think of it. Maybe the Breakdown mold is meant to be Gutcruncher. They do have a penchant for Action Masters in general.

As for Transmetal Fractyl. I'm only just learning that he was an intended figure. While he looks great and I'd welcome him into my collection, I would prefer a proper figure for 06 Terrorsaur first. Here's to hoping Hasbro has a Generations Terrorsaur up their sleeves for 15/16.

 

I'll say that -f there's a red Jazz re-purposing in there somewhere - I've been on board for almost all the Action Master characters getting new figures (Circuit not so much but it's ok). Accordingly, I am keen for Rad to get a figure (sometime anyway) and yes, the Jazz mold best suits that end. Currently, at least.

The suggestion of Flash at first gave me a sense of mild skepticism mixed with curiosity, but it's quite grown on me too, seeing the image of him again. He's one of a handful of Transformers I got as a child. I still have him in my room, stashed away somewhere. His missiles should be in there too. Logically. Maybe.  

Otherwise I'm irrationally keen about Battletrap, when I take a moment to think about it. The (Generations Springer) mold is rather cool, and having the TFCC Battlechargers betrays my interest in bolstering my less populous Classics shelf - that of the Decepticons - with whatever latter G1 characters come its way stylishly.

In the interests of diversity and supporting pretty good molds if I can, Packrat and/or Breakdown's reuse could be worth my time too, money allowing.

I think we're just getting Packrat since the mold is there and it's an obvious repaint, especially for BotCon... I don't see this being another BotCon reunion set.

I definitely want both equally, but would rather get TM Fractyl first since that had been teased for a few years longer, and that mold is so old I would hate for it to go missing if they wait too long... '06 Terrorsaur doesn't necessarily need to be from Energon Skyblast if that mold ends up being unavailable

 

Yeah I'd love a Rad from Jazz, which is a great mold and worth reusing (I wouldn't mind an actual Classics Jackpot showing up from Jazz someday either).

As for Gutcruncher, I think I'd still prefer that from Generations Warpath.

I hadn't thought about Flash, but FunPub dipping their toes back in G1.5/G2 waters is fine by me, especially with one Classics Turbomaster out there in Scorch. IF it is Flash, I hope they'd make an effort to slowly cover the remaining Turbomasters (even Thunderclash again) if Hasbro has no plans of their own.

 

I've wanted him for a long time, but now he'd probably be my most wanted if they could do it this way:

-Use the Armada TM Terrorsaur remold (hey...*if* the mold is available it might be only that one)

-Include Minicon Fractyl repainted from the minicon pterodactyl mold.

Then you've got a little Fractyl as part of a larger Fractyl ..... QED

 

I'd be down with that (although maybe make it Terrorsaur instead, that way it's not just the same thing). Too bad there was never a rat Mini-Con... would have been cute to give him a little Packrat buddy

 

But the point is to have them both be Fractyl because... fractal!
