I'm curious if the Takara version will still have those rubber antennas on Superion's head or if they'll change it to plastic.

Lol my favorite thing about these new photos, honestly, is that they have the leg's guns on Superion's thighs. Just like seeing that my thought to put them there wasn't actually that dumb.

Still not going to get this, but hey Slingshot! Doesn't look bad. Even if literally just paint and head are different.

It's the same gun, just a different colour
I moaned about the Hasbro hands & feet not being white when I reviewed the toys but now i've seen the Takara version I prefer them in black.

Hmmm, wonder if PE is going to do a version of hands and feet for the TT version. I like the white myself, but liked the looks of PE's versions.

Yup. I hadn't bought into any of these. When the first images from Takara appeared, still wasn't so sure... That posed/combined picture...Purchase seems inevitable now.

Yeah I like the fact that they made it white like the original, but I think I might like the black a little bit better as well. I'll see how much I like it when I get it in hand. Doesn't help that it's photographed on a white background so everything just kinda blends together.

This looks nice enough but after seeing it more carefully there's not much improvement aside from the white hands and feet. I wish we have some comparisons with the Hasbro one.

I suppose I can keep my Hasbro version and sell them here in Peru if the differences are truly notable.

I'm a fan. My son might get some Hasbro hand-me-downs.

I figure my son is going to get all of my stuff as he gets older. He's only 15 months right now, but I've been handing him robots since he was born. This past summer, I got him a plush Soundwave at TFCon Toronto.

Yeah definitely going to grab this over trying to find them in Canadian TRUs, considering at the moment stores are only getting one case for the CW wave 1.

Depends on how you look at it and where you live. Consider that you can find the deluxes at Target for $11.99 each. $11.99 x 4 + $24.99 + Tax (about $6.36 in my area) delivers a total of $79.30 for the set. Operating from your premise of $16.99 per deluxe and a $24.99 price tag for the voyager, plus tax, brings us about $20 below the Takara version. Shipping, arguably, will see that price gap widen to about $35 to $40 depending on where you live and from whom you choose to purchase.

Fortunately, there is news that Hasbro will release Slingshot in the US market, so we won't be left out. Hopefully, it won't be a TRU exclusive.

All this news of Takara releasing gift set version of CW makes me more hopeful of a decent looking Bruticus in the works. Has/Tak, you got a lot to make up for. Don't screw up Bruticus again :lol

Even though this looks good and now we have Slingshot, but I like having Alpha Bravo on the team. It mixes it up and I thought I read somewhere that in CW comics that SS got killed in battle and Alpha Bravo stepped up as SS replacement?

I wish Takara would release them separately as well.

I'm generally happy with the Hasbro CW deluxes, but I'd rather have Takara's Silverbolt.
