Comics2film.com points out that Soundtrack.net was on-hand to witness composer Steve Jablonsky's score being recorded for the upcoming 90-second Transformers teaser trailer.
The site photographed Bruce Fowler conducting the 59-piece orchestra for the teaser recording session. Soundtrack.net reports that while "the melody heard in the teaser isn't necessarily the theme for the film ... Jablonsky is pretty sure that he'll utilize it somewhere in the score, due to be recorded next year."
IGN FilmForce has confirmed with sources that the Transformers teaser trailer will most likely debut with the July 7th release of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. Transformers is slated for release about a year from that weekend (July 4, 2007).

ComingSoon.net Reports that the trailer will debut online first at the official site on July 4th. On July 7th it is to make its theatrical debut with Pirates of the Carribean 2.  |

Hope its true becase its one of those films I would have waited to see on DVD and now this gives me a reason to go see it on the big screen.

Although my kids want to see Pirates 2 really bad.

I'd say the liklihood of it being attached to Pirates 2 is pretty high.
anyone know how that works when 1 studio gets there teaser attached to another studios picture? "all the slammin' shorties in the house say "yeah!""

The dates don't match up anymore but if memory serves, Superman was pushed to an earlier release just recently and I think the original date coincided with the countdown on the official movie page.

Just a very brief 'ad' for the movie, it won't be until the theatrical TRAILER that we'll probably see anything near a final product.
Although, if we do see some early concept stuff, it'd be nice....
