Neat concept. Transformation engineering looks interesting but it's pretty obvious that the G1 mode is compromised to hide all the Bayverse bits. Bee is especially guilty of this. Prime, being bigger, has more space to hide kibble and looks better for it. I'm not sure how Starscream would be able to pull off the transformation from G1 to Bayverse though. His movie design is so vastly different from your standard humanoid robot (which Bee and Prime still have), what with the massively wide triangular body and spindly chicken legs. The Bay Cons in general were more bestial than humanoid at times.

Finding a market for these would also prove problematic, methinks. I like both G1 and movieverse but even I'm hard pressed to want to pick up these figures.

Very interesting. I kinda wish Hasbro had given it a go. The Bee transforms very simply and wiht what 6 steps? Well within current engineering standards.

A nice concept, but one that would take a few years for engineering to improve before it could truly work. I'd prefer, as someone else suggested, Transformers that are able to switch between a Cybertronian and an Earth alt mode, but for the 30th Anniversary, make them characters from all generations (like Bumblebee and Barricade from the movies, Bulkhead and Knock Out from Prime, Optimus Prime and Starscream from G1, etc.)

Great concept. I'd love to see it fleshed out into official production figures!!!

It's an awesome concept, but I can't even begin to imagine the engineering that would go into making a decent looking toy.

It's a really cool concept, for sure. I'd love to see it actually attempted some time down the line, though maybe with designs besides the movie ones. Like, for one, I'd enjoy a G1-to-Prime Arcee or Ratchet, or maybe a G1-to-RiD2015 Bee. Basically, put more emphasis on the cartoon incarnations and I'm game.

I also really like the idea that a bunch of you guys mentioned of figures using this transformation to have both Earth and Cybertronian forms.

As long as they still have vehicle modes I'd buy them, not so interested in this robot to this robot only.

That looks seriously cool. I'm a bit iffy on making Bumblebee work purely because of proportional differences, but it looks great.

    Nice concepts.
I like the engineering on the Bumblebee and Optimus.
I'd like see these put into production somehow.

They may not all appeal to straight G1 fans, or Bayverse fans, I think they might appeal to fans of particular characters. A single figure that can showcase different incarnations of Bumblebee's 'bot mode, as in the example.

    Fantastic concept.

A shame it isn't possible by today's standards. If only it was more widely popular back during RotF and HftD...

EDIT: I just realized Transformatting is basically an advanced of form of what we got from Animated Shockwave. Anybody else feeling the same?

I love the idea and what they have doesn't look too bad at all so far for what it does. I'd buy them at a fair price.

Very creative. I would definitely purchase a character I liked if not all of them.

I love the concept, and I think these are legitimately cool. I don't care much for the movie designs, but these really work for me. I don't even mind some of the kibble (although both Bumblebees look pretty sleek to me). Great artwork, too (big surprise, I know). I would love to see, at the very least, some form of this in a future towline, perhaps with changing small things on either the alt. mode or robot mode to produce a different form that, whilst similar, is still unique. So, sort of like half-way between being a regular Transformer and a triple-changer.

A both iffy and really interesting idea. Not too bad in the guy's concept pieces, and it would especially enticing if HasTak could figure out the engineering for impressive and accurate figures.

Wow! This is a really cool idea. And just amazing proof-of-concept figures using existing toys. I would totally buy a line of these.

I also love how the one Optimus actually uses a BW Primal head as G1. Funny, probably unintentional, BM nod.

Also, these remind me of those old G1 concepts for a Skywarp/Megatron/jet and Megatron/Galvatron/gun.

    G1 Megatron into G1 Galvatron

Heck, what I would have given as a child for a toy that could do that...

I pretty much don't care for Bayformers. I don't need G1 robots that change into them. Prime looks OK, though.
