FINALLY. Oh my god I've been waiting to see what they were going to do. And these better goddamn be in scale with each other. I would LOVE to pay like $400 for a gigantic Grimlock. Weird how I was just thinking about them earlier and how they haven't shown anything about these since they got the license.

Well it's the DOTM Bee, so I'm assuming they're going full DOTM, which is nice because everyone have the best designs in it. I'm just a little upset they went with the safe 4 for the first releases. Pretty boring for me.

3A figures usually cost a couple hundred bucks. The figures I've bought are typically $200- $240 and they're about 13" tall. The larger stuff will push over $400.

Expensive, but not insane. That's good to hear.

I'd be particularly interested in the Megs.

Yeah if it's DOTM megs I'll be pumped. Any other one will just be ehhhh. The prices aren't bad considering these guys will be released 2 a year at best. So any chances of us getting a Jazz, Ironhide, Ratchet, or Sideswipe will have to wait until 2017-2018

It is. I got a leaked image of Optimus Prime and they're doing the DOTM version. I imagine that will apply for both Megatron and Starscream.

Their Real Steel line figures ranged from roughly $330-$390 so these will probably fall around that range as well. Not bad considering the Takara model was $80 and was only 5.5 inches tall.

Optimus is being announced in Jan. Megatron and Starscream will follow in Feb.

Well that's pretty exciting, I've seen their stuff and their robots look damn good. Although i have to ask...... Transformers that don't transform?:D

Hmm, these high-end guys sure are getting into the action with Hot Toys ThreeA etc. At least here it isn't as "weird" as Hot Toys.

Nice, I wouldn't mind them getting these guys out of the way and moving on to some other dudes.

    Pics of 3A Toys Bumblebee

It's the movie version, and it probably does not transform, but it looks pretty sick.

That's what I'm hoping for as well. Hope they at least do Lockdown. Have yet to see a proper figure of him. Would be pretty neat to see him in this scale and accuracy.

Do we know what scale this is? Or if they're even continuing a single scale across all figures?

I think all the figures will be roughly the same height. I got confirmation from a 3A staff that Bumblebee is 15". If they were to do all the figures in scale with one another, Optimus would be an insane 30+ inches which isn't really practical. I hope at the very least they give a slight height difference between them. So if Optimus is 17 or 18 inches tall I would be fine with that.

Damn, that's actually pretty offputting to me. I would've preferred them to stick to a scale considering they don't even need to transform.

I rarely ever post on these boards, mostly have been lurking for the last decade or so, but I'm Gregory from 3A. Nice to see a positive response to the Bee

There will be variations in heights on the Optimus, Megs, and Starscream and they will be taller than Bee.

Hm, would have been better if ThreeZero had made these, ThreeA tends to lag behind majorly with their releases. Not to mention that they are hard to get. But still, really fucking cool. :D
