Calling All Canadians, Calling All Canadians!!!!!!!

Some of you may have noticed that the Generations line with Windblade has been released in Canada, however they past the wave with Rattrap and Tankor. Well think no more, because they have been spotted in Canada. I even saw them when I was hunting for AOE Snarl today.

Sweet, more toys I can't find because my Wal-mart over-orders waves so they clog and stop new stock from coming because they're idiots!

Internet retailers got my money a long, long, long time ago.

Besides, I'm a sucker for the toy + comic book packaging of US releases.

 

Yup, got rat-face from Amazon over a month ago.

Nah. I think back during 2008 or 2009 Canada got stuff earlier for a while, but typically we're a month or so behind US.

Which in the age of online retailers that ship internationally, is fucking dumb but whatever.

 

Not true. The Wave with Windblade was released in Canada the same time as US. Just look at this thread.

"Typically." Obviously there's exceptions, but he was refering to us getting waves before the US normally, which didn't happen often except for a while years ago. So even your example means nothing.

 

Yeah, I meant with every wave not exceptions obviously. Thanks for the reply, Split Lip. Interesting to know. Agreed about importing... OT, but it always makes me scratch my head when I read on Facebook that an Australian singer let's say is releasing a CD in Austrailia, or like Fefe Dobson releasing her singles just in Canada, and a LOT of the comments are like WHAT ABOUT THE US??? WHAT ABOUT BRASIL??? It's like, ever heard of importing people? Jesus... maybe it's because I've been ordering things online since 1996, but I RARELY buy anything collectable from Target anymore... international releases usually get better quality stuff anyway; the US gets the barebone releases generally. Except in your case with Generations, but that feeds into my example of importing, you would probably do it anyway for the comic even if Canada got them first.

That's pretty late. We've had them 2 for a good month or so now.

 

Damn, my condolences... I passed on this wave here in Philly but I think we've had them in stock for over a month now.

Does BBTS deliver in Canada, that seems like the best way to go?

 

It does, but the customs, slow shipping and high shipping cost make it unfeasible for me in my area. (my brother in-law however apparently doesn't get hit with customs, and he's only twenty minutes away)

Amazon, luckily, has super fast shipping at better prices without customs. Then again, with our dollar so bad, nobody wants to shop from US retailers right now.  

 

Tell me about it. All I see at the two Wal-Marts closest to me are the same Wave 3 deluxes clogged up.

I remembering finding a Jhaxius at Winners of all places. The only "new" figure I don't have that's been released in Canada.

Still I'm glad Rattrap and Tankor weren't skipped over.

 

That's why I couldn't find them. Better start hunting.

 

At least you guys got AOE deluxe wave three up north.
In the US we have gotten in none of them.

 

I'm looking for 2 Snarls here in Canada, but either there isn't any or they only have 1 and it's sold.

Wave 2.5 just hit my Wal-Mart.

 

I haven't seen them in person, but there are a few reports of wave 3 deluxes showing up at BC and Ontario Walmarts in very small numbers. They haven't hit saturation yet but they are out there.

 

That's because saturation knows it's place.

But yeah, I was wondering when they'd show up.

 

I've search high and low this Saturday for 2 Snarls in Vancouver, but didn't find any.
