    This is so screwed up. After ages of searching, I finally buy a HA Soundwave on ebay for the (fairly) decent price of £78, only to find out about an hour later that it's getting reissued.

    If it is a two-pack, then I'm glad, since I wouldn't have a use for Barricade (Soundwave is for my main collection, to face off with BB Bumblebee...). If it has a premium paint job, however (which I doubt since both previous APS releases only had pictures sporting their decos), I'll get pissy...

    So I never really liked collecting the Human Alliance line since it didn't fit in with the scale that I have for my display. I only have Jazz and Roadbuster and normally I would pass but this two pack has me intrigued. Sure it would be nice to get some premium paint, especially considering these Asia releases are supposed to come with premium paint (as seen with Striker Prime and Brawl). However, I like the idea of combining the two deceptions into one pack and if the price is right I'll totally nab this. And because is that I may just have to pick up a Bumblebee too.

    I love that these are getting a re-release, but given that they are Hasbro Asia releases they will still likely be more than I'm willing to pay. If Soundwave received a nice paint job I'd be more willing to splurge.

    I thought the whole reason for this line was to give us a premium paint job on the toy....

    OP= awesome
    Brawl= awesome
    Barricade = dont notice anything substantially different
    Soundwave = WTF ??

    For the money, they should at least paint Soundwave.

    I'd love to get Soundwave but I already have Barricade so not sure what I would do with him.

    Asia "Premium" Series, eh? You'd think they'd at least opt for the silver on Soundwave.

    That minor gripe aside, I'd consider grabbing this, even though I've already got Barricade. Too bad it wasn't Soundwave and Mudflap, two molds that weren't readily available in the states, and who don't have high-quality KO's of them.

    On Long Island at least, Mudflap was sold through small store chains like Matty's Toy Stop sometime in September 2010 for $27-$30, and then later showed up at Marshall's and TJ Maxx for $17 and later $12 from November 2010 all the way to April 2011. So there's that.

    Man, I've been wanting Soundwave for sooooo long but didn't want to pay the price. Now they re-release him but pack him with Barricade, whom I already have, and absolutely no silver paint. Wtf? Isn't the whole point of being "premium" having a better paint job? Disappointing.

    True, but they weren't as widely available as the other HA's. I never saw Mudflap in my local TJ Maxx. The only time I ever saw him was at a shop in Chinatown in NYC a year or two after the fact.

    I will most likely get the set. I hope it's not too expensive.

    $145 isn't too bad considering eBay prices. Soundwave alone goes for that much.

    They seem to be doing that a lot lately, haven't they. Pricing their reissues and exclusives because of demand, rather than what they cost to produce.
    Like the upcoming MP Skywarp - the Masterpiece seekers are usually US$50-100 when done by TakaraTomy or Hasbro America, but Hasbro HK's Skywarp looks to be about US$150.
