Will wait for hasbro mp11 skywarp and starscream. Sick of the seeker mold, and definitely not paying more than $70 for it.

I'm sure it will happen, but as in the Apollyon thread: this is happening now.

Well, difference with apollyon is I got mp03 walscream and skywarp, so mp11 versions are just for a more toon-accurate look to please my OCD...

I really like the hasbro tc. Sure the tattoos look silly, but the vibrant colors look so much better than a cartoon accurate version would be.

I do like the Hasbro TC, but trying to stick with TT MP only.. Even though it is now being tested with the Skywarp release.. :)

I only fear that if this is indeed the only TT version of Skywarp, then the TT Thundercracker will be similarly priced. Much as I'd love a cartoon accurate deco for Thundercracker, I'm not sure I'm willing to pay that considering I already have the Hasbro version. It's far from perfect but can be made acceptable with a little work.

After this Skywarp my only real wish for the mold is a purple seeker. Don't care if it's a clone (earth MTMTE) or that welcoming Seeker (Cybertron MTMTE) or even a Slipstream based deco. I just really want a purple Seeker to complete all possible Seekers.

Well, other than box and distributor, the hasbro tc looks and feels the same as the Takara seekers. Hasbro didn't go cheap on it like they did the latest version of hasbro Grimlock and Sunstorm (according to a friend who bought it... Said the plastic feels "waxy" compared to Thundercracker)

For all we know this could be it altogether for the seekers before they put more time and effort into other mps.. This being such a limited release and such a quick turnover could be them getting this deco out quick before retiring the mold

I'd be surprised if TT didn't release a Thundercracker. Even if it's another limited run like Skywarp..

A fair point. They should be federally mandated to include a month of Prozac with each MP. Our neuroses are being exploited!

It's bugging me too - no word about the mold integrity or how it holds together, no alt mode shots, just hand-wringing about the fucking box being opened and whether the ugly, non-outlined symbols are right side up or not. I wonder if anyone even cares that this transforms into a jet.

Agreed. Milk this mold as much as possible. Hell, they can produce these every year and they will sell. I don't see this as being the end of the seekers from TT. Easy enough to release these between new figure releases.

Whether it is TT, Hasbro Asia, or Hasbro US - I see this mold as continuing to get cranked out by all.

Man, oh man. Opened boxes or not, I hope TCP is getting him in stock soon. I'd totally shell out $600 for a complete set of masterpiece versions of the original trio of Seekers. I wonder how limited this'll be.

I think it'd be kinda funny if TT does Thundercracker and makes his emblems facing sideways or something just to fuck with people.

I'm still saving my cash for a Hasbro release. The only way I'll get the Takara version is if my folks buy him for my next birthday

It would be nice to see pics of it in jet-mode.

Trouble is, this expensive figure doesn't include a stand or the cluster-missiles for jet-mode.

One can only hope somebody who purchased it has a flightpose or a yeti-stand to use for it. Or at least, use the stand from the other MP Seekers.

I'm not sure it will happen. Hasbro is busy releasing Acid Storm and Sunstorm. If they were going to do MP-11 Skywarp they would have done so by now. I figure that, like some here, they figure MP-03 versions were good enough and they are done with all three of the original seekers.

I assume Takara, on the other hand, will somehow get a TC out. But they are more in tune with this whole bring the toon to life thing since the reboot.

Not in terms of plastic, no. But they don't have the same paint. Starscream and Skywarp's chests will be painted. Hasbro TCs is not. It's not a huge deal, no, but I'm sure I'll notice it once Skywarp's silver is on display next to Hasbro TC's matte plastic.

I don't have any insider knowledge, but I suspect you may be waiting a long time.
