Ah, no worries. More a curiosity than anything. Didn't know if you preordered it, if they'd keep it, etc.

Got around to decaling my Mp-20 and wow, this kicks the crap out of the reprolabels.. Looks completely stock. Now im getting a set for smokescreen. I usually dont like applying stickers to my figures but these being race cars desperately needed sponsors :lol

Sorry to resurect this, but can anyone help if they've put the Exhaust stickers on?

I'm using this site for reference. The question I have is where do the two tiniest Marlboro logos go?

Edit. I'm using a KO for this, and damn the lettering for sidestream on the spoiler and the Lancia on the hood will not come off at all with 91% isopropyl alcohol. Usually a qtip will do something, I'm just cleaning it at this point.

Marlboro let them use the name? Hallelujah, it's a miracle!

Am I the only one who thinks the Hasbro set is superior to the Toyhax one? Sorry, but this time official wins.

Man, I am so tempted to get the Wheeljack set! The only issue would be how out of place he'd look among the others. Why Hasbro isn't doing this with all the MPs is beyond me. I don't like the look of Prowl's stickers, though...so I guess that's maybe why.

IMHO, though, these should be included with the MPs in the first place. How expensive would it be to tack on a sticker sheet, after all?

The logos? Do you have a pic? I used that site as well for reference for my Ocean and MP Exhaust.

Sorry to resurrect this again, but I compiled a bunch of info (most of it from TFW member Cax6ton) on how to apply these and references for doing so, so I figured to put it in this thread for anyone who might tackle this now:

This a link to a photogallery of a finish MP-20 that I used for all of the sticker placements.

This site has some reference pics for Exhaust (Not all Exhaust stickers are included, but you can use 1 or 2 from the Generations/Classics Wheeljack sticker set.

This is a video by TFW2005 member Cax6ton showing how to apply the decals

Finally, this is TFW2005's Cax6ton's tutorial on how to apply them, I don't know how to properly link to the post, but it's in the middle of the MP Appreciation post.

    1. Find reference pictures: google "Lancia Stratos 539" to see images of the real-world Stratos, other models, etc. Find the pics from the original sticker announcement thread so you can refer to where the stickers go.
    2. WASH YOUR HANDS. Make sure the figure is free of dust, dirt, grease, etc. I like to use a barely-damp paper towel to clean the figure and let it dry.
    3. Gather your tools. You'll need a sharp knife, razor blade, boxcutter, whatever. You'll need tweezers, preferably two sets. You'll need something to rub the stickers down. I recommend a chopstick from a takeout place, but you can use a toothpick or the back end of tweezers - basically something to press down and rub the transfer but not something sharp or else you'll tear the stickers.
    4. If you've never done this before, you're in luck: the Thrilling 30 logo is good to practice with, and the bottom part of the sheet appears to be stickers for Classics Wheeljack - use those to practice on another figure or even some other plastic surface. Take one of the bottom Autobot symbols or something and practice on something else.
    5. Using your knife/razor blade, cut out around the sticker you want to work with. You don't have to cut it close, you'll need some free space to peel it off. CAREFULLY lift one corner of the vinyl slowly - if the sticker does not come up with the top vinyl, put it down and rub the sticker firmly with your stick. Then peel it again, and the sticker should come up with the top vinyl. Place it where you want it on the figure, and press it down lightly with your finger, or the tweezers, or your stick. If you miss, you can gently lift and re-apply it. Once you have it where you want it, rub the whole thing firmly with your stick, especially around all of the edges. Once you've done that, carefully lift the clear vinyl and peel it off. Go slowly until you have a feel for it, making sure the sticker isn't peeling up with the vinyl.
    6. DON'T TOUCH THE STICKER. Let it set for a few minutes while the adhesive dries. Once it dries it will feel just like a tampo or paint, but the first few minutes after it's applied it can still tear or rub off.
    7. Cut the next decal out, and repeat all over again. Look for places where mulitple decals can be laid out at the same time so you don't have to do much cutting - like the strip that goes on the bottom of the door edges, you don't need to cut out all 4 logos individually, just cut the whole strip and apply all 4 at once, that way the spacing will stay even - see the pic below.

If you mess up: Before the adhesive dries, you can usually just scratch the sticker off with a fingernail, or use scotch tape to lift the pieces off. In worst cases you can try using a damp paper towel to soften it and then rub it off. Alcohol will also take them off, but it will also remove the figure's paint, so don't use it on painted areas. If you mess up, the sticker is definitely wasted, but at least it doesn't harm the figure.

Super late to this thread, but interested in any info on the Prowl Japanese sticker set. The images of the decals look like they're dry rubs, can anyone confirm this?

Want to put the decals on a MP-17 and start a Japan Cop Bots collection along side MP-42 Cordon, GT-08 Sarge, and MX-17T Taiho...

Whelp, to answer my own question... the Ocean decals for Prowl are dry rubs.

Will post some photos when I get around to putting on the decals and fingers crossed on not screwing stuff up. Haven't done dry rubs that aren't just the faction symbols before.

Going to probably only use the doors, shoulder chevrons and the JP National Police symbol on the hood.

UPDATE: Here are a couple of shots of Prowl with the dry rubs... the Highway Patrol lettering shows through on the door decals. You'd probably have to paint over it before applying them. Also, the font kerning on the decals is terrible... look at how the letter I is incorrectly spaced.
