I have both an Android phone and an iPhone 4 (i use for music) and the quality of the parts under the hood of an iPhone are just better specifically in sound. It is one of the reasons so many top end music apps are made for iPhone over Android. Droid phone companies just refuse to use better parts for their gear.

Like what was said before, because no Droid phone is the same it is a pain in the ass for programmers to develop apps for Android.

 

Just played it..pretty much what you can expect in terms of casual/Angry Birds games. Quite addicting!

The artstyle remains a weird one: it definitely seems like the people who made this have mad love for Transformers (and Angry Birds), yet at the same time there's this weird feeling that they're being held back by both 'sides'. There's this not-quite Angry Birds, not-quite Transformers feel to it.

But Heatwave is gold I tell you, gold.

Although things are slightly changing now that Apple is coming out with multiple sizes of devices, developing for Android is a bitch. Just too many different devices, with different resolutions and specs.

Next to that, the amount of piracy and refusal to pay a dime for content on Android means developers rather create their game for iPhones first before sinking time and money into Android versions - even if Apple takes 30% of your revenue.

 

I stayed up way too late playing this last night. Was really surprised to like it so much. I mean, I like Angry Birds, but this was much more fun than I expected. Not to mention, all the little things. Like at one point, the loading bar says it's pouring water on scraplets.

 

Ill definintely try it when it comes out for android.

 

after dying a bunch and waiting hours to recharge i realized this game is gunna be a cash grab and deleted it...

 

This is so much fun, but goddamn does it kill my battery.

I think the loading bar commentaries are the funniest part! You can tell the developers were either fans or had some obscure reference material to play with. It came out here a week or two back so I've played it a bit, it's not as addictive for me but it's enjoyable enough.

 

I'm loving it. The music, the 80's VHS visual cues, the ability to upgrade characters...so much fun.  

 

So 14 days until Android.
Why does Android get everything later?

 

I paid the $10 for the jenga. What a complete rip off.

 

What does a forward facing camera have to do with this game ? Is it used in the game ? I tried to download it and it told me I couldn't because my phone doesn't have a forward facing camera lol ... Last time I tried to download a different TF game it told me my phone needed a Gyro in order to play it lol.. WTF lol

 

Why would you even do that? That's a very hefty price, seeing how most full iOS games are not even more than 3-5 dollars...

There's also the option to enter a code rather than pay 10 bucks - I'm willing to bet the Grimlock Jenga toyset comes with a code to unlock this in-game.


I mean, shame on the developers for even putting that in there, not you, but that's an impulse buy if I've ever read one.  

 

I thought it would at least be fun. I was wrong.

 

Come on, think of those on Windows Phone!

 

Just show a little self control and enjoy the free stuff.

 

I love this game, only down side is that this game kills me battery soo fast.
