It might be just because I got back from X3 (great btw!) but Megatron and Prime seem to parallel Magneto and Xavier

Nice one.

Although considering we only know Megatron's character.Making the Xavier-Magneto comparision is IMPO premature as we don't even know what Prime's character would be like.

But who knows you might've nailed it right there

Am I the only GEEWUNner who doesn't care about whether or not Prime is a long nosed truck?

I honestly don't see what the big deal is...

If you're not foaming at the mouth, chances are you're not a Geewunner in the sense others are using the term.

Hasbro don't make 'em like they used to. Thanks to aricosaur!

You know, I started to read through the questions and then stopped myself and asked "do I really want to read all this advance stuff only to go to the actual movie and be diappointed by what I think it should have been?" The answer is "no". I've always been a huge movie critic and I think it might be because I always read all the pre-stuff before I actually see the film and then I find it harder to enjoy it because I know most of what's coming and have certain expectations. On the other hand, I went to X3 not knowing really anything, having forced myself not to read much about it beforehand and I still didn't like it (I'm still crying inside), so maybe it doesn't matter after all. Anyway, carry on!

Many thanks to kjeevahh for the sweet sig.!!

The problem I have with this comparison is that as far as I can recall nothing has even been mentioned about Megatron and OP being friends before they were enemies. I thought Prime was simply a record-keeper and seemed to keep to himself mostly and Megs. was out there upgrading himself and amassing an army. Then again, I suppose they were alive for far more time than we've ever seen, so maybe in their past, they knew one another. To me, Xavier and Magnus have always been polar opposites, but that stems from them being on the same side of the proverbial coin at one point. Speaking of which, does anyone recall when Magnus decided to go his separate way? For some reason, I can't recall what event(s) led him away from Xavier's dream...man, I'm really rambling tonight, my apologies.

Many thanks to kjeevahh for the sweet sig.!!
